Fun hand from last night and a little moan
5/5/10 game, joined by a whale who comes maybe once a month and will dust off 10k, 2k at a time.
Said whale was in for 5k, sat on a stack of 4k and playing every single hand, shoved several times pre and showing nonsense like 104off.
then this 3.5million to 1 hand happens
UTG opens to 35, whale 3bets to 275, we jam 2.3k with QQ knowing he is never folding. However UTG starts tanking, decides to flat with 900 behind and whale flats. At this point I know I'm literally set mining as UTG is never doing this with less than QQ with this specific whale in the hand.
They get the rest in on the flop, board runs out dry. UTG turns over AA, whale turns over QQ lol
I'm actually losing with QQ+ when all in pre since the start of last year. (AA has been cracked several times, doubled up someone who had 108 in a 4bet pot and we lose)
The game I play in is amazing but it it so jarring being down several buy ins against people who are literally giving it away
