I’m getting a strange noise only during light acceleration or when the engine is under slight load. The noise disappears completely if I press the throttle harder or put the engine under heavier load.

The truck drives normally otherwise and transmission shifts smoothly.

Maintenance/checks already done:

• Checked coil condition (no electrical leak or bad boots)
• Installed new serpentine belt and pulleys
• Cleaned throttle body
• Truck is NOT equipped with IMRC
• Transmission shifts perfectly
• Checked for loose/rattling parts physically and found nothing
• engine and trans oil changes done.

Additional notes:

• Noise is more noticeable at low RPM/light throttle
• Happens while driving, not at idle
• Noise goes away immediately under hard acceleration
