I recently got accepted into the Amazon CPhT program the whole course is in 5 weeks, it’s very fast paced. I found out yesterday that our ‘classes’ are actually study sessions and that the course is pretty much on our own and we just use class time to answer each other’s questions and discuss. Ideally I would like to get an extra day off and only work 30 hours for the 5 week course so I don’t have to worry about hoping to get VTO.

I’m supposed to start class next Tuesday. All I’ve done so far is create an NHA acc, we created it together in a zoom meeting. I just recently submitted a voucher for the career choice tuition payment. NHA is listed EVERYWHERE as the school, but I just found out they’re not a school. So who’s hosting the classes? I received an email saying we’ll receive our NHA account creation the day before class starts, but I already created an acc. This whole process has been very confusing. I hate that they’re waiting till the last minute for no reason.

I forget his username but he was really knowledgeable about public and especially public retirement. Used to always see his comments a few years ago.

My program starts the 8th of May but classes start on the 12th. The deadline to apply was May 3rd and when I view my request it says it’s still on the withdraw period and won’t be viewed until the withdraw period is over. It’s cutting it pretty close. Also I’m supposed to receive my account information the day before classes start. This seems a little too close together.
