Arts and cultural engagement ‘linked to slower pace of biological ageing’ | Ageing

From the article:

>Singing, painting or visiting a gallery or museum helps people age more slowly, according to the latest study to link taking an active interest in art and culture with improved health.

>The findings are the first to show that both participating in arts activities and attending events, such as viewing an exhibition, lead to people staying biologically younger.

>“These results demonstrate the health impact of the arts at a biological level.

>They provide evidence for arts and cultural engagement to be recognised as a health-promoting behaviour in a similar way to exercise,” said Prof Daisy Fancourt, the lead author of the research and the head of the social biobehavioural research group at University College London.

Which Actor is the Sean Bean of C-Dramas?

There is a running joke that Sean Bean DIES IN EVERY SINGLE MOVIE AND SERIES HE HAS STARRED IN.

Then I saw a member of this sub with the flair about Ren Jia Lun only dying in 4 out of 22 of his dramas.

My question is:

Who is the Sean Bean of C-Dramas - always playing a character that dies in every single drama he has been in?

UPDATE: Cheng Yi is apparently Sean Bean's C-Drama counterpart. Honorable mention going to Liu Yuning.

I bought my round-trip airfares to London during the Emirates sales a month before the US-Iran war erupted and have had to put all my travel planning (including finalising appointment dates for some important meetings, arranging for ground travel etc) on hold because all through March and April, Emirates had to operate a reduced schedule with quite a few routes cancelled/suspended due to the war.

I've logged into Emirates' website to check on my flights but they currently:

  • Only allow people to check for today and tomorrow's flights - dates further out seem to be greyed out.
  • Only state that people with flights happening on or before 31 May 2026 are eligible for rescheduling or getting a full refund.

I was wondering if anyone here might know if flights from Southeast Asia - London - Southeast Asia are running as normal now or if Emirates might agree to do a full refund for flights in June and July at this point because it is now at a point where I really need to finalise plans either way (if I'm going, appointments etc have to be booked, if I'm not going, other arrangements need to be made).

Thanks for any help anyone can give.
