Old metro map spotted at ROW DTLA

This map should be older than Oct 7, 2022. It's a bit weird that they seem to emphasis "Drive time" while still highlighting all metro rail stations. This place is also not directly rail-accessible, while there were shuttles between it and Union Station (but I don't know if they are still running today)

  • K line hasn’t opened.
  • Regional connector hasn’t opened.
  • The K Line northern extension concept stretched all the way up San Vicente Blvd, terminating in West Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd.
  • Only listed metro rail stations. J/G lines were not included.

I’ve been seeing this sign on the sepulveda pass for years right around the Mulholland Dr Bridge overpass / approaching the 101 interchange. It says "Watch for slowed or stopped vehicles ahead”.

It's a downhill stretch and also before the 101 interchange so it kind of makes sense, but there are other spots like the 10/405, 101/110, 5/605 interchanges and etc. that are also notoriously bad where I don't see things like this, so I’m wondering if this location has a specific history behind it, or if it’s just a standard precaution placed in high-risk congestion zones that I haven't had a chance to notice elsewhere.
