Systemwide upgrade or Status Upgrade

On a flight home in March (DFW-HNL), I requested a SWU for myself and my spouse. We were upgraded, thankfully. I assumed it was the SWU, not a status upgrade. A few days later, I see the same number of SWUs still in my account.

I’m flying HNL-LAX, LAX-BOS next week, and eight days later, same route home.

A month ago I requested SWUs, for all four flights. HNL-BOS was confirmed yesterday, and the BOS-LAX flight on my way home, was confirmed today.

Since it is more than 100 hours before my first flight, should I assume the upgrade is a SWU? I question this because there are still the same number of SWUs in my account. I thought they were removed from my acct immediately upon confirmation?

Best apps

Does anyone know the best app to track our group (there are four of us but we might not always be together. We would like to be able to know where the others are, mostly for safety reasons.

Also, what app do you use to post your travels for friends and family at home, to follow along? I have Find Penguins and Polarsteps…

Hi all ~ I just received a 2mL vial from a pharmacy through LifeMD.

Am I correct, that if I pull approximately .23mL (I have been on 3.75mg) from the vial, I will have 8 injections? I was under the impression this was just a one month supply. Any insight is appreciated!

I might’ve been number 1 on the upgrade list with zero seats available, but I’ll be damned if the flight attendant didn’t offer me THE cheese plate, without me asking (which I’m not sure I would do)! The ever elusive cheese plate made an appearance on my flight home to HNL yesterday 🥳

Update: Apparently they had badges (sat right next to me) and two guys just out of the lounge had guns. Interesting.

Has anyone ever been to the Admiral’s Lounge (in any airport) and have several seats labeled RESERVED? I’ve watched the Admiral’s Lounge gatekeepers patrol this area where they placed RESERVED signs on 7 of the seats in a very small lounge. They’ve shooed several people away, quite rudely (except one gatekeeper was polite). And there are only three people in this group that were just ushered in.

I had PF (or what I thought was PF) about 18 years ago. Felt like there was a pricker in my slippers (flip flops), and then pain worsened. I bought Fit Flops, wore them religiously, and it went away. Never thought about it again.

I've been wearing slippers for basically 20+ years, except when hiking, going on long walks or at the gym. After a five week trip to Europe last Nov/Dec, walking 6-10 miles a day in HOKAS, I had severe knee pain. Knee pain traveled to my foot. And since then I have thought I have PF.

Side note: in 2017 (at age 46) I had a year of chemo for breast cancer. I have had several surgeries due to the BC as well. Anyone else dealing with this pain with a history of cancer?

Been to the podiatrist 3x. First visit - sends me to PT (the one conveniently above her office). Second visit - gives me steroid shot (lasted 20 hours) and says MORE PT. Third visit - throws a full-on leg/foot boot my way and says it's the boot or a cast. These three visits totaled ABOUT 120 seconds. Oh, and a $50 pair of inserts my dual insurance's, conveniently, does not cover.

I've been to PT at least 12x between JAN - APR. I am constantly being given mixed reviews by the various PTs I see. Some think it's PF. Some don't. And I have started getting intense massages, working my Psoas, lower back, hamstrings, calf, etc. I am getting relief but it is not gone. Oh, and I am walking 500 miles this fall, from France to Spain. I don't have time to waste!

I saw a foot and ankle specialist two days ago and he is not convinced it is PF. He thinks it is tied to my back, calling it lumbar radiculopathy. I do not have pain 24/7, and when I DO have pain, it is a burning sensation around the outside of my heel, as well as directly on the bottom of my heal. He has ordered an MRI, and is sending me to a different PT office.

Has anyone else found relief this way and discovered it was NOT PF?

Also, the F&A specialist doc said there are many docs out there that do not believe PF is a thing, that it is coming from another part of the body, presenting in the foot. Has anyone else heard this? I am relatively new to this forum - so be easy on me if I am repeating discussions from the past!!

Reporting to you today, from economy 😩:

I saw this guy in the boarding area. He caught my attention with the uber tight, lavender, mid-thigh length Bermuda shorts he was wearing. They were so tight I thought they were briefs underwear (is that what you call them??). And like, well…they showed quite a bit of, shall I say, “stuff”? (That, unfortunately, is eye level whilst walking down the aisle of an airplane). Honestly? Not something I care to see. Keep that for the beach. I suppose it was the equivalent to a young adult female wearing a skintight dress that barely covered her okole.

Anyway, while the seat mate of said subject got up to use the restroom, this man decided it was time for a little Richard Simmons-type workout. Arms straight out in front of him and deep ass squats. I’m surprised the shorts didn’t split wide open. Thankfully I was a few rows away because that front view would’ve been too much (he was facing the window on the opposite side of the aircraft).

Who TF does this kind of thing on a plane?!? I travel a lot and even I was surprised.
