is it truly easier to date as a Man in NYC?

i've heard many reasons why dating as a straight man (for both casual and serious) relationships is better in NYC (when compared to other US cities)

a high woman-to-men ratio, more nightlife, better bars and date spots, overall city vibe being electric, people more likely to get out of their homes and do things

is this true?

I recently had a L3-L4 fusion for some Adjacent Segment Disease. This was much needed as my previous T3-L3 fusion was pushing down hard on the segment below it.

I am now fairly straight at the L3-L4 level, but my back pain levels are higher at the side that was previously Concave.

Those who had a fusion, which side hurt most post fusion? The side previously Concave, or Convex?

I believe my muscles on my previously concave side are stretched out properly now, after years of being tight. This might be why. Open to any and all insights from y'all.
