I have a new installed ring doorbell. Smart Alerts is on, and package turned on.

So while the history does see and identify it, it does not put up an alert. I thought maybe I need to have the specific alert turned on in the Ring App on the phone App settings (Android).

But there is no specific Package alert, and all alerts are on in those settings.

What do I need to do in order to get this alert?

I'm so anxious to get hold of one of these. But being in the US that may be a bit of a wait. Apparently there is no information out there about when it might be expected here.

I see it on Alibaba from what I read there'd be no US warranty and it's not supported in the US yet. And beyond that exchanges or refunds or whatever are difficult through Alibaba.

Anybody have any information about purchasing in the US?
