Water hammer problems…..
Had a new lawn sprinkler system installed. When the system is operating, its making a water hammering sound in the basement.
The sprinkler installer sent the plumber over to solve the hammering. He installed this expansion tank but it has made no improvement in the hammering.
Is this the correct solution to this problem? Do you have any suggestions on how to eliminate the hammering?
