our true-up letter says the value of excess energy is calculated using the average BGE Standard Offer Service. the BGE FAQ says the same thing regarding the rate the pay for exported power.

when i compute the average SOS (this is shown on each monthly bill), i get $0.1389 but the rate BGE stated is $0.11834. (that rate is LOWER than any SOS rate for the last 12 months so it cannot be an average.)

i tried to email them using the address provided but the email bounced. i called customer service and asked for a number or email for "net metering" but the only think she wanted to offer me was info related to the meter on the house. (lol.)

before i waste any more time, does anyone have an explanation for what seems to be a discrepancy? thanks.

three year old. bought new. has anyone else had this? it looks like a leak from the head but i'm not sure. it runs fine otherwise.

i've never seen a sporto with baton (?) hands or that up arrow under the "sporto" on the dial. would appreciate any thoughts.

tldr: it is as plug-and-play to import mini dv today as it was 20+years ago. but ymmv.

all of my search results on how to import mini dv nowadays sounded like it was anything but straightforward on a modern computer. lots of recommendations to find/buy an old computer, or use long-extinct or expensive external hardware, or worse, do an analog import. it turned out to be as plug-and-play as in the old days.

i have a win11 homebuilt using an asus ROG strix B760-i gaming wifi motherboard with intel i7-13700k. i purchased this PCIe card, swapped out my GPU, installed the windows 1394 legacy driver. the PCIe card appeared in Device Manager. i've always used ScenAlyzer for importing. i plugged in my TRV30. scenalyzer connected, and i clicked "rewind and capture". that's it. i'm on tape 7 now and it's working as it did 20+yrs ago. ymmv.

this is so obvious and straightforward, it must be common knowledge and i just consistently found the wrong searches. hopefully someone finds this useful.
