Where would you start? I recently started offering free lessons once every couple weeks depending on my work schedule. I've been coaching for almost four years now so that isn't new to me.

But this is entirely my own thing. Unaffiliated with my gym. Just free lessons for my local community + friends.

I've began teaching the basics of boxing and introducing kicks, along with defensive work too, but I'm curious if anyone remembers anything particularly useful when they were newbies.

One issue I have is I only have boxing gloves for everyone. We have a few spare shinnies and one set of Thai pads but that's it. So we're doing Dutch style training, which works well but at my gym I have a wide array of toys and bags to use when introducing newbies. So it's still a bit of improv from me when I have to figure out how to do things just a little differently than if I were at my home gym.

I miss missing someone.

I miss the feeling of being nervous and excited for them to text me back or see my story or what the fuck ever

I miss day dreaming about someone

I miss not being alone when going to the grocery store

I miss feeling empty when a specific someone isn't with me

I miss love

And passion

And dates

And the little moments of care

But I still miss missing someone most of all.

...

This shit sucks boys. I want to cry but nothing is coming out.
