I’m a college student interning in DC this fall through a policy program, and I’m looking for recommendations for ethical and genuinely impactful environmental nonprofits or advocacy organizations in the area. I’m especially interested in groups focused on sustainability, conservation, environmental justice, animal rights, or policy/outreach work that are supportive of undergraduate interns. I’d also love to hear if there are any organizations people strongly recommend (or recommend avoiding). Thanks!

My ex broke up with me 6 months ago and there has not been one day where I do not think about him. If I’m being honest half my thoughts are about him/everything that happened leading to the breakup. I’ve tried everything even Etsy witches😭 and nothing seems to get him out of my mind. This is my first real breakup so idk what to do/ how to feel. As soon as he broke up with me he went back to his ex that tried to break us up multiple times. She kept saying he was cheating with her but he would deny it. It’s just hard for me to get over it since idk the whole truth. Anyone dealt with it or has advice id rlly appreciate it! Thanks
