I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this so if it isn't I apologize. Hopefully someone can answer my question or point me in the right direction.

I am moving into a new apartment. I have a desktop that will be in my room. I purchased a very large TV for the living room. There is a few walls and about 50feet between where the computer is and where my tv/myself will be.

I am trying to find a way to connect the wireless keyboard and mouse so that it will work from my living room but be communicating with my desktop. I am trying to do the same thing for the TV to allow me to use it as my display in the living room.

For the TV display issue I was thinking I could use a wireless HDMI receiver/transmitter. With the transmitter in the computer and the receiver in the TV. I assume this would allow me to essentially use the TV as an external display. Will this work and if so how bad will the latency realistically be? If there is a better solution or this won't work please let me know.

As for how to use the wireless keyboard/mouse from the living room to control the workstation I am not sure what the best course of action is. Is there a way to do this that will make it possible and that won't result in excessive input delay?

Thank you all in advance for any advice you can provide!
