Samsung S90D, worth it to get an ASUS Pg32ucdm3 for my desk?

Basically the title, currently gaming on my 77 inch s90d and am considering getting the ASUS to use as both a monitor for my MacBook Pro and my pc.

When I ended up building my pc in November of last year I couldn’t justify getting a monitor too when I had the s90d already available to use. I have loved using it as my monitor as it has given me the console vibe I was looking for/coming from. However, with the release of the new penta qd oled and the inclusion of Dolby vision on them as well(which the s90d lacks) I’m feeling very tempted to start using my desk again with a monitor.

To be clear, I plan to get a cpu cart and just roll my computer around between my desk in my bedroom and my living room so the s90d will be be used as I have no doubt a 32 inch screen will not compare to a 77 inch screen. Just wanted to ask what y’all’s thoughts were here as I have never owned a gaming monitor before

Hi all,
For context I currently own an audiotechnica lp120usb that’s about 11 years old and am debating on if I will get markedly better sound quality if I upgrade to a new record player. The reason behind my potential upgrade is I just setup a whole audio system(KEF r3, Marantz m1, and SVS sb-3000 revolution) and I don’t want my record player to limit the quality of the system. The system is primarily for streaming and wired audio playback from a Mac/ipad, but I have been planning to hook my record player up as I have thousands of dollars in records I haven’t touched in a few years. Any recommendations would be much appreciated not looking to spend over $700 for my budget and I live in the US. This will be for near field/desk listening

Is my current record player sufficient or would I have a big jump in quality if I upgraded? Any recommendations would be much appreciated not looking to spend over $700 for my budget and I live in the US

Hi all,
I’m currently in the market to purchase a pair of bookshelf speakers and I’m struggling to decide on what to choose. Currently in terms of audio I use an expensive pair of IEMs and multiple pairs of sennheiser headphones with my primary being the HD660s2. For my tv sound system I have the full high end Sonos setup for atmos(arc ultra, sub 4, era 300s).

I’m currently deciding whether or not powered speakers are right for me. My budget right now is 2500 pre tax which could currently net me a pair of Klipsch the sevens II and their respective stands. The big appeal of these is the level of connectivity present: AirPlay, usb c audio, chromecast, Spotify cast, Bluetooth. I do not plan on using the speakers I purchase to replace my Sonos system and do not care about my system connecting to my Sonos system(via the Sonos amp). The sevens II have gotten glowing reviews so far but I just keep seeing significant negatives surrounding powered speakers in terms of longevity. This worries me as a I have speakers from Sonos over 10 years old at this point that work just as great as the day I got them. For reference I live in a studio apartment and I plan to have these speakers in an entryway projecting into my bedroom. In the realm of passive speakers, I’m not worried about the amp so much as I have experience with headphone amps and dacs, but I do worry how much a nice amp will cost that has all the connectivity features that the sevens II have. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Basically what the title says, I currently own a pair of Sennheiser hd660s2s and momentum 4s and am debating if I want to get a pair of closed back wired headphones. I like the hd660s2s, they are very comfortable and sound great but in all honesty they sound VERY boring at times. I own a pair of kiwi ears astral IEMS that I love for shorter listening periods but IEMS just typically irritate my ear canal if I wear them for too long. Kind of looking for a pair of closed back wired headphones that match the kiwi ear astrals in terms of sound and are very fun sounding with very good bass. My research has led me to the Fiio ft1s which seem great because I would only have to drop 150 on them. I’ve also debated the 620s due to it being only 220 at Best Buy atm but the whole reason im getting a closed back wired pair of headphones is a way more fun sound. What are y’all’s thoughts? Would prefer to spend less than $300 and want a sound the opposite of the Sennheiser 660s2

Recently I purchased a pair of HD660s2 that I have been enjoying with the fiio btr13. After purchasing a pair of kiwi ear astrals recently, I’ve just been blown away by the difference in sound quality when using the same dac/amp. Due to the difference in ease of driving between the two and the difference in sound being so marked in all regards, I’m starting to wonder if the problem lies in my dac/amp. I purchased my btr13 at Microcenter and called ahead and would be able to exchange it for the fiio btr17 this week if I want to. Would this be a good switch? Is the btr13 too weak for the HD660s2? Or do yall think I’m just experiencing a difference due to them being open back headphones vs iems. The dac/amp needs to be portable and potentially Bluetooth due to a significant portion of usage being with an iPad Pro.
