I’m curious how the rest of you play out your Road to the Show careers. I feel like I might be in the minority here, but I actually kind of hate being drafted #1 overall.

I much prefer the "mid-round sleeper" vibe where I have to actually earn my way up rather than being the immediate face of the franchise.

Do you let the game randomly pick your team to see where you land, or do you explicitly choose your organization?

I’m also curious to hear about everyone’s actual career paths so far. What college did you guys end up committing to, and which team ultimately called your name on draft night? How's the grind actually going for you? Are you already living the dream as a perennial All-Star, or are you still stuck in the Triple-A trenches
