Have you had younger, less qualified colleagues get promoted ahead of you? How did you handle that? The easy answer is to say get a new job, but that’s not so easy in midlife for those that are there or have been there. So how did you deal?
Has anyone’s career hit the ceiling at 42? What did you do? Anyone able to successfully pivot to something else?
I’m sure many of you guys have been here. Want to get divorced, but can’t fathom being apart from my daughter on a daily basis. The thought of only seeing her on the weekends is keeping me from pulling the trigger. I work 60-70 hour weeks and so I won’t be able to take care of her on the weekday. How did you guys navigate this situation?
