Even though it may have been my least desired shiny out of the three (as you already gate a shiny water type for free in these games), I’m still very happy about how quick the hunt for any of the three shiny starters ended. I plan on transferring him and the rest of my team to Pokemon Champions with the “the living legend” mark after beating red and enjoying the game.

Mega Pidgeot is one of my favorite megas and I knew that this was going to be the first Professor title I was going to aim to achieve. But man, I’m not gonna lie. Getting this was gruesome. It has a very hard time in a meta full of Aerodactyl, Garchomp, Excadrill, Tyranitar and Archaludon. I play for fun and hence don’t mind my rating being abysmal. Thought I’d also get this done before it becomes even more unviable upon expansion of the roster.

My biggest disappointment, though: getting no mark to show this off. That would have been the cherry on top of the cake.
