My current issue with the big mags

As most of you know, once you get the traders high enough you can buy bigger, 60-round mags for AK's and AR's (and probably some other weapons)

These mags however, are in my opinion unrealistic in the current setting of the game, and i will suggest a change which will improve on the game

In game i feel like the quad stack mags are incredibly unbalanced.

They add basically only positives, while the drawbacks are non existant. having 30 extra rounds that you can dump at your target without reloading is quite the advantage. my problem is, there is almost no penalty for it. Quad mags are heavy, can be prone to jamming and aiming definitely wouldnt be easier with one of these mags dangling under your gun. not to mention they dont take up any extra space in your rig whatsoever.

My suggestion: Make the ergo penalty ALOT more intense, and make the reload speed about 50% slower. In the future when malfunctions are added, i feel like a failure to feed malfunction would be realistic when using quad mags that are in low condition.

Quad stacks will work in optimal conditions, but in a humid and dirty jungle like lamang, they will quickly foul up and stop working. a seasoned PMC will know this, so as a mid-high tier replacement (not for endgame yet) i suggest adding the soviet 40 and 45 round longer mags for the AK, and for the M4 the 40 round PMAG.

These are much more common in the world in real life, and are almost just as reliable as standard 30 round mags. not to mention they can look quite cool with the right build.

They would have less drawbacks than the quadmags, making them always a viable option for just a bit extra firepower.

Question for the owners of the Akriva Type 56

I've got my eyes on the akriva type 56 to fill in the role of a GBB AK. I wont be fielding it, its just for me to larp with at home (i have a real norinco and i want to train a bit more indoors without blowing a hole through my wall)

for the people that have this replica; i read online its possible to make the bolt go full travel by removing a special type of buffer thats in the replica, is this true?

my other question is, is is externally compatible with repro AK parts like foregrip, gas tube etc? i wanna build it as close as i can to my norinco so i will need to do some modifications externally

Like the title says, could someone explain the immigration process to me? Ive been scouring the internet but i keep reading conflicting things and (this part is my fault) some of the word mumbo jumbo i just dont understand.

My situation:

2 years ago i met a wonderful south african woman and have been in a relationship with her ever since. We visit eachother as often as possible, and 5 months ago we got engaged.

I am commited to living in south africa with her in the future, and i want to become an official citizen ofcourse at that point.

I saw a few ways that you can apply for a visa, my way will be the spousal way since i dont have my money's equivalent of 12 million rand laying around, and i dont have the job expertise to be considered an expert and highly sought after.

Anyways, what will the process for me be like? If its up to me i would like to apply as fast as possible, but ive read that for a spousal visa/residency there is a time attached to it?

So in short: im in a relationship for 2 years already, engaged for 5 months.

When will i be able to apply for permanent residency/citizenship. And what are the requirements for either of those statuses?

Many thanks in advance for any help :)

I live in south africa and i am about to apply for a self defense carry permit.

For a long long time I've had my eyes on an M&P9c.

A little extrapolation: A self defense gun in south africa doesnt need to be concealed without printing, it just needs to be covered but can even stick out a bit under a shirt for instance, so size doesnt matter that much when it comes to printing. (Lots of people carry full size caniks here)

Anyways, like i said ive had my eyes on an M&P9c for a while.

It comes with a 12 round magazine but also a 15 round magazine that gives it an extended base.

Its a basic model, no MOS cut or anything.

However, now with the announcement of those new 43x and 48 15 round glock mags, im highly debating myself on if i should switch to a glock 48 instead.

What would you guys recommend?

I cannot get both here. Once a gun is on a self defense license its on there permanently and if i want to switch it i need to go through a process that will take MONTHS just to be allowed to carry a different pistol
