Old tool part help

Old tool part help

I have a lovely old bandsaw that has a hoover motor but sadly the starting capacitor blew.

I am finding it impossible to get a replacement and wondered if any one here can point me in the direction of a supplier.

Image of the capacitor included .

Thank you in advance of any help!

Newbie, any help is appreciated

Just looking for any obvious pointers and chisel set recommendations. I know mine need a sharpening.

I’ve got about 2-3 hours into what I’ve got so far. Mainly been using the smaller chisels.

Help identifying and getting info on older woodworking tools/machines

Hey everyone. Please excuse me if this post is not allowed, but I could really use some help. I’m helping a family friend clear out their father's old woodworking shop, and could use some guidance from people more experienced than me.

There are tons of old and functioning saws, sanders, and grinders and I just don't know where to start.

Does anything stand out here? I know it's difficult to discern from these images, but do you have a rough idea of how usable these machines still are nowadays? Anything specific I should check for? Are there any places where these could move quicker?

Appreciate any insight, just trying to handle this properly and learn more. I have so many more pics as well if anyone would like to chat over DM.

I made a Frame Saw from scratch ( Roubo Style).

I made this saw from 1095 blue spring steel . Filed 3 TPI, 0 degree rake , small set. Made frame from hard maple , finished with tung oil , turpentine and a tiny bit of pine tar . Made all the hardware myself. Plate is .042 inch thick and three inch's tall, and 41.5 inch's long. From initial testing it cuts noticeably faster than a saw I made from a purchased 5 tpi 36 inch long kit. I thought it would be hard to start because the zero degree rake but surprisingly didn't have any issue, although I do make a kerf from my hand saw to start with. I hand filed every tooth from scratch which took forever. Currently trying to figure out how to make these giant teeth faster . For those that primarily use power tools this is the saw that does what most modern wood workers use a band saw for.

Any idea what these are for?

I got these in a box of woodworking tools from an old carpenter. Anyone know what they are used for?

New Bosch GCM12SD fence question

Just unboxed this and noticed right away that the fence appears to be misaligned vertically left to right everything seems square on the saw both blade to fence and blade to table, but obviously this discrepancy concerns me anyone else have this issue? It appears that this is all a single piece which cannot be adjusted, but maybe I am missing something.

Hey y'all. I just moved into a 150ish year old farm house and this is in the cellar. I know I'm going to have to rebuild the base, but do you guys think I could clean it up, put a blade on it, and use it to mill if I attached a small motor to the belt receiver or would it turn into a death trap?

Delta 36-725T2 Blast Pipe Screws

I had to replace my blast pipe on my Delta 36-725T2. When I went to install it, I lost the screws. Everywhere online doesn't carry the blast pipe screws(DPEC006143). I cant even find info on the screw size. Anyone have an idea what size the blast pipe screw size is?
