I built a free LA tonight-picker and I’m trying to make the WeHo/nightlife recommendations better:

https://sidequesttonight.com/

It lets you pick a mood, timing, neighborhood, and a couple filters, then gives quick options for tonight.

For WeHo specifically, what would make this useful: happy hour info, dance/bar vibe, queer nightlife filters, parking notes, cover price, walkability, or late-night food nearby?

Hi all,

I'm a Valley girl born & raised but I sadly don't venture into WeHo often. I have a date tomorrow night & we are planning on doing dinner & then a bookstore (if any are open late). Are there any good recommendations ? I did search "bookstore" for this subreddit & there was a relevant post from 4 years ago 😬

Thank you all in advance !!

Anyone commuting from Long Beach to West Hollywood?

Hello! I'm a working professional looking to pay gas money in exchange for rides to and from West Hollywood daily from downtown Long Beach.

Willing to provide a background check/ references as long as you are as well. Ideally you are someone who is already doing a commute in the area and wants to save money on gas and keep it green!

We live in a apartment complex in WeHo with a small central courtyard. Two stories tall. No onsite management.

In truth, I love not having an onsite manager. As long as folks behave like adults? A++

A ground floor apartment has put patio furniture + an outdoor rug in front of their apartment. They use it all day long. For wfh zoom meetings on a laptop, for sitting outside and scrolling on their phone + Vaping, and it just makes it so anyone traversing the small courtyard is essentially an interloper walking through their unofficial living room space. It’s extremely uncomfortable.

- I know smoking is forbidden in WeHo. What about vaping?

- Is it OK to commandeer common areas as described? Or am I being too picky?

Going from outside to inside requires social interaction where I am “crossing“ their space. It’s not really their space, is it?

I would love a neutral situation. It’s not possible in a small courtyard.

Please advise!
