Hey guys, I’m planning a trip to Varkala soon, and I’m kinda confused about where to stay.

I wanna stay somewhere around North Cliff so I can walk to cafés, the beach, and all the cute spots. Not looking for anything super fancy, just a nice clean place that’s safe and doesn’t make my wallet cry !!

If anyone has stayed there recently, pls drop hotel/Airbnb recommendations 🫶

Bonus points if it has good views or is aesthetic lol.

I’m planning a solo trip to Varkala from May 4th and thought I’d put this out here in case anyone else is around during the same time.

I’ll be working remotely for a tech company, so my days will be a mix of work + exploring in the evenings and weekends. Would be great to catch up with fellow travelers, grab a coffee, chill by the cliff, or just share some travel stories.

I’ll be travelling from Bangalore, and I’m pretty flexible with plans outside of work hours.

Next month im planning a solo bike trip across Kerala. Gonna be stopping at Varakala for just a day.

Besides hanging out at the cafes, need a good surf spot. Any info on that would be appreciated.

Since majority of the places are non seasonal during june, is varkala safe to go on june 10-15 as a part if my honeymoon trip - some say it would rain but some say it would ve too hot. Please provide your insights???? 😅🥲

I am gonna solo travel varkala from june 6-june 10th.

I am happy to do cafe hopping for 1-2days but want to visit some secluded and high tide beaches to capture some aggressive action photos of sea ( i know its very risky ) . please do let me know if there any places as such or anything you recommend.
