What exactly is stassi’s role in vanderpump villa?
Is she just there to put clues together with the staff’s drama? Is she there to stir the pot?

Rewatching the Brett / Scheana episodes through the lens of him being wishy washy / undecided on committing to Dayna.
I feel like he may have been giving Scheana mixed signals about her music video. Something tells me he confronted her in front of Dayna in order to look good in front of her. But in front of her face, I feel like he was probably very accommodating.
There’s another exchange after this where he flip flops on staying in the music video, and Scheana has to “fire” him / cut him off because he says he felt uncomfortable. Personally, I think Scheana was villainized a little too strongly… and I think she is actually taken aback by the Brett confrontation like it’s coming out of nowhere. It really didn’t help her case that the music video was soooooooo bad….
I’m doing a rewatch right now, and can I say I’m very annoyed that we never got to see the fallout between Jenna and her boyfriend Anthony when he finds out she slept with James??
That’s all!
In the early days I felt bad for Scheana that she wanted to be accepted but never was by Stassi, Katie, and Kristen. She even seemed to be liked by cast & the audience when Stassi left but the others soon took Stassi’s side once she came back and acted all contrite even after she trashed all of them and treated them each like shit. Even Kristen let her move in with her for crying out loud.
EDITED :Both Scheana and Stassi chronically complain and are ridiculous in their own way (good as gold meets ranch as a personality trait) but what makes Stassi a fan favorite and decently successful reality personality despite all her flaws and Scheana so disliked? Season 1&2 Stassi did some HEINOUS shit where Scheana’s crime was that she seemed annoying? Does she get away with her behavior because she’s blonde? I don’t get it…
I have rewatched this so many times and I still find things I never noticed.
How on earth did Sandoval not get cancelled for dropping his pants to Ariana’s editor as his “payment” to get included in her book?! It was the most vile thing I’ve seen on the show, and I can’t fathom not leaving him for that alone.
You can literally count the times Tom cheated because he starts the narrative that they aren’t having sex and they are roommates. That way he can go back and claim that as his excuse because it worked with Kristen. Season 6, season 2, season 10, and there’s one more but I already forgot which one….His very first reason he explained to her brother why she should be sleeping with him was he’s “a good looking guy”.
If I took a 1/4 of a shot of fireball for every time Tom immediately buts into an argument with deflection that starts with “I just love how you……” I’d be dead. And I’m only on season 6 of my millionth rewatch. How does everyone not recognize this prior to Katie calling him out on it?! It’s legit purposeful manipulation.
I’m rewatching season 9 and I cannot believe what an absolute dick Sandoval was! The way he treated Katie, tried to play victim about how hard it is to be a “cisgender straight man”, manipulated Schwartz by withholding his friendship, and the list goes on.
Honestly I know it can be so hard to leave a relationship especially a very long term relationship where you literally own property together…. But I can’t believe Ariana could watch his behavior in this season and not be absolutely disgusted. Same goes for Tom Schwartz! Who lets someone take credit for bringing money into their household, belittle and put down their wife, talk down to them and then decides to keep them as a best friend and defend them over their wife. HORRIBLE.
He really got what was coming to him. I’m glad Ariana got off that ride! I can’t believe Schwartz is still on it.
Would the public perception be different? Would people have got over their hate by now?
I think Raquel ditching him and the show completely got her more hate than if she chose to stay on. It made their affair seem dirty, and their "love" not real.
If these 2 had stayed together, got married maybe, had a couple kids, crafted a redemption arc for themselves, maybe they wouldn't be as hated today? People love love. Would they be on "The Valley" alongside Schwartz?
Idk thoughts?

Edit to add: People forgave both Jax and Kristen, who cheated with each other. Also lied about it for months. Kristen was Stassi's best friend, Jax was Sandoval's best friend. It was bad, but they all got redemption arcs, and went on to be on reality TV for years after.
I wonder if they would have stayed on for another season or 2, would they have been forgiven too?
Honestly, Jordan would have absolutely shoulder checked her if she didn’t get out of the way
But her ability to get a confession while also saying and doing very little should be studied
just a silly lil game where you create characters & basically have them interact in a little ant farm-esque world.
i’m going to make the whole OG cast & see what goofiness ensues. free will is fun!
This is my first time watching the show and I just finished season 9. I cannot stand Brock and he’s making it borderline unwatchable lmao
high as fuck for 420 and just caught this😭 i’m howling it looks like it’s actually salsa and not just a drink in a salsa jar
It’s so crazy watching this show back from the start… knowing everything that eventually happens.
The golden nugget? That’s like an all time low
In my first watch. I blew through the series over the last year. Seems pretty agreed upon that the first 3 seasons are the best and everything before 2020 is pretty solid. But my god season 8 is horrible, what the fuck are these plotlines?
The new cast and their storylines are as generic and uninteresting as possible. Max, Brett, Dayna, and Danica are all NPCs and the boring love triangle thing is nothing short of high school drama. Scheana inserting herself into it is embarrassing but is unsurprising.
Stassi, Katie, and Kristen are all extremely uninteresting and the entire arc is just them yelling at Kristen.
Jax and Brittany's wedding is maybe the only redeeming thing of the season and even that is not good, though Jax being a groomzilla and firing Tom is funny.
Schwartz forgetting to file marriage paperwork is completely on brand since he's an alcoholic.
And speaking of drunk, the James sobriety story was rehashed for about the 10th time and didn't get any better. Raquel is devoid of personality and sticks with him despite him acting abusive.
Please someone tell me it gets better after this.
He requested to follow me around the same time but never realized he commented 😂
