L40 Ultra Wifi Stability Issues

I have an L40 Ultra that I have performed the WiFi command fix on it on and off the base station and it just goes dark the thing is crazy unreliable and I am not sure what the issue is. My L10s Ultra Heat was in the exact same spot this one is so I know it's no wifi issue. I am not sure what else to try and I'm hoping someone here has experienced this.

Complete house map creation not possible because of battery life

Hello! Asking for recommendation.

I just installed Valetudo, I'm trying to generate the full map of my apartment so that I can plan cleaning tasks in each room.

What I understood is that to generate the map I have to let the robot run a full cleaning of the house. Unfortunately my robot is old and battery doesn't last enough.

I was able to run a full edge cleaning of the house, but it did not generate the map after that.

Can anyone confirm that my understanding is correct and without a full cleaning of the apartment the map will not be generated and that there is no way around that?

thanks!

NTP settings. Probably I am being dumb.

My robot (J15 Pro Ultra) is connected to a WLAN without Internet access, hosted by an OpenWRT router.

If I connect my laptop to the same WLAN, I can do this:

$ ntpdate -q 192.168.3.1
2026-05-08 20:44:35.920519 (+0100) -0.005088 +/- 0.002602 192.168.3.1 s2 no-leap

I think this means my OpenWRT router is acting as an NTP server reachable at 192.168.3.1 . Correct me if I'm wrong.

However, in the Valetudo web interface, if I go to (Menu icon) > Connectivity > NTP Connectivity and set the "Server" field to 192.168.3.1 and then press the refresh icon, I get Error: connection Timeout waiting for NTP response from 192.168.3.1:123.

What am I doing wrong?

Can mapping be done manually / assisted?

I am in the last steps of buying a valetudo compatible vacuum (eureka j15 pro ultra) and i have one tough to navigate spot in my home. The robot would have to navigate through a partially opened door (enough clearance atleast) gon through under the bed, turn 180° left, 1m forward and then 90° to the right to get into the wardrobe...
I am unsure if any robot would find this by itself (although i never had a mapping one)...
So the question is: Can I assist the robot during mapping in order to find that route?
