Delivery Lead Time for Mailed Hardcopies

Hi! Does anyone knows how long will it take for my documents to be recieved by UPOU? My previous school can't release my TOR and honorable dismiss not until the 14th of May and deadline for MIS admission is ngayong 23rd na. Aabot kaya yung hardcopies ko on time. Planning to ship it through LBC pero I'm from Cebu pa kasi and worry ko if it might not make it on time.

Questions about Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management

I hope someone's kind enough to answer my questions. I would very much appreciate your effort, Ma'am/Sir!

Q1: For those who's taking this degree right now as a full-time employee sa kani-kanilang opisina, gaano po ito kahirap?

I am currently writing my essay and I am paranoid about it being flagged as AI despite me taking the time to write everything. I have been falsely flagged by AI multiple times before and it affected my grades because teachers would rely on the AI checkers online and take it as fact. 😭...Right now it is being detected by ZeroGPT with this message: "Your Text is Likely Human written, may include parts generated by AI/GPT"

Should I record me writing my essay or should I add a touch of bad grammar in it to save face? Am I overreacting? What can I do?

I don't want to ruin my chances of getting into UPOU.

High-stake Assessment

Hello po!

Ano po ang set-up ng midterm or final exams ng UPOU? Is there a need of a separate device/camera to see the whole working space?

Hello, planning to transfer to UPOU AA Digital arts and Design

I would gladly appreciate help from former Thomasians or any kind of info

Galing ako UST today to process ung TOR but instead they gave me some kind of reply slip na I need to give to UPOU then back to UST. Idk how is that gonna work bc LB campus ng UPOU diba tapos saka nila irerelease records. I am also unable to call UPOU at the moment bc wala akong landline for Laguna calls. Eh diba ung requirements kelangan imail? Need help for this, super naguguluhan ako huhu tyia

Hi po! Incoming BAMS freshie here 🙋‍♀️

Little background: I’ve been homeschooled for a while, so I actually thrived in a self-paced environment. I love the flexibility and the "do-it-at-your-own-pace" vibe, which is why I chose UPOU.

PERO... super deprived na po ako ng F2F classes. After years of being at home, natatakot po ako na baka mabaliw ako if 100% ng college life ko ay sa harap lang ulit ng monitor. (Especially I've been homeschooling ever since the pandemic started)

So my questions are:

- Are there any "secret" F2F classes? May instances ba na may meet-ups for certain BAMS subjects (like for production or shoots) or maybe some general subjects are taken at UPD/UPLB?

- How do you guys socialize other than orgs? For the seniors/upperclassmen, how do you keep your sanity? May mga study groups ba or Discord servers that actually meet up in real life?

- Where do you hang out? If I want to feel like a "real" student, can I go to other UP campuses (like Diliman or UPLB) to use the library or just sit on the grass and study?

I really want the UP education, but I also want to finally have "friends" in the physical sense. Huhu. Any tips for a social-starved homeschooled kid?

Thank you po! 🫶
