The difference in price between iPhone and computer prices is freaking insane!!

I'm not able to sign up for the subscription on my phone, and I was thinking "Oh, $25? That's not too bad, let me try on my computer." I look and it cost THREE TIMES AS MUCH! That's absolutely ridiculous. Also, in what world is 25 equal to 75% of 100? Get your math checked out. Doesn't apple take a significant cut of purchases made through the app store? Wouldn't it be cheaper to not go through Apple?

HOW TO GET UG TABS WITHOUT PAYING?

i first used this app when i was yunger and could enjoy of the open access to some of the tabs but nowadays its all "pay for it"

i'd just feel more privileged if could get full (or most of) access to the UG tabs without paying, like an APK or somenthing to unlock the tabs

Can't click on tabs anymore

I suddenly can't click on tabs to jump from section to section anymore. Now there's a bar on the bottom of the page where i can chose where the song starts to play, which is way more annoying and less precise. I also tried it with adblock disabled to no avail.

Anyone know how i can fix this? I'm on Firefox, Win11

Edit: Bug seems to have been fixed. If you have the same problem try u/tV00NCc11aZH90HMLHlO's solution which he has commented under this post, tho i can't guarantee it will work.

Don’t subscribe to these crooks

I signed up for a trial about a year ago that I thought I had canceled. Yesterday, I was charged $200 out of nowhere.

Support says it was for two separate annual subscriptions that auto-renewed, and they’re refusing to refund me. I’m disputing it with my bank now.

Check your subscriptions if you’ve ever used their trial. I wouldn’t give them your card info.

Tabs low quality when full screen

Hello

Been using ultimate for some time but today everytime I go full screen the quality of the tabs drops to be barely readable instead of the sharp normal writing. Has it happened to you?

Pro tabs with capo

Am I the only one who thinks the way that EVERY SINGLE song that uses a capo is written in the most needlessly difficult way? Why for example if the capo is on the 2nd fret, do I need to ADD 2 to EVERY note of the song? If the tab says 12, maybe I'm crazy, but my instinct is to fret on the 12th fret. I get that the 2nd fret becomes the equivalent of the open strings but isn't it way easier to just remember THAT whenever it comes up than to mentally add 2 to every single thing on the screen? Because that's where the capo is PHYSICALLY LOCATED on the guitar? I shouldn't have to play catch up through any song I'm learning because I'm so crazy that when I see the number 12 I think it means the number 12 and not 12+2.

I love spending time playing this or that song in my library; it’s the main way I use the app, and I have about 600 songs in my library that I scroll through at random sometimes. I doubt most people use it this way, but my request should be simple: **please make additional “sort by” options for the library; the best one would be a simple randomized (shuffle order)**

There has always been the option of sorting library by date added, by artist name, and by song name. I often switch between these because I feel that when I look at one sort, I just won’t ever get the chance to play certain songs; for example, if I sort by date, then I’ll most likely see songs I just added, or songs I added a long time ago, and songs in the middle are just more likely to be overlooked. A similar problem occurs with both of the other sort methods, which makes me think that there are a ton of songs in my library that I just never see because they’re “middle of the pack” in all three sort categories.

The shuffle order would not only fix this problem and make me feel that I get to play each of my collected songs at a similar frequency, it would also take away the need for me to do any manual “randomizing” (by scrolling and choosing a song to play where the scroll stops) entirely.

Please. I’m sure it’d be so easy. I’m not even a professional programmer, but I’m sure I could figure it out in an hour or two if you let me access the code.

The audio always lags behind the moving bar. I feel like this has been a problem for years, on multiple devices and app versions.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Saw a book that I really liked. It's a Hal Leonard book and I'm not naive enough to think that I can just download it (you can't). The best I can do is to read a page at a time, but you can use, for example, the Windows Snip tool to take a screenshot of each page as you go.

The reason I brought this up is that I was wondering if there is some kind of browser automation that would use Chrome to sign you in, go to the URL of the book you're interested in, and, then, somehow, download the content (which is not paginated like a conventional document). Been playing with Selenium, Python and UiPath and still have not hit upon a solution. Gotta be a way to do this....

EDIT: it looks like UiPath can automate Chrome to scroll downward and take screen shots of each section of the page. More to come. I'll share my discoveries as they develop, if you're interested.
