I built a free self-hosted PDF markup tool for system design drawings. It lets you upload a PDF, place devices, draw cable paths, estimate distances, add notes, and generate a simple live bid/export.
The demo is about 8 minutes and starts from cloning the repo, then shows the basic workflow.
It’s still rough, but functional. I originally made it for my own low-voltage/security design work, and I figured others might find it useful for quick estimates, site layouts, camera/security planning, or rough project markups.
