Camelia Crafts is our mentor for Masterboards however, Gail Agostinelli also gets honorable mention, as she influenced the example page.

The cover image is a print of a Master board I use over and over.

  1. Next is a print of the masterboard collage I did for this prompt. The base is a packing envelope cut down to 12"x12," white gesso was used to alter some of the bare surface.

Rip & tear collage folder, white stamped handwriting and Walnut stain stamped letters in typewriter font.

  1. If you are disappointed in the way your masterboard prints, put parchment paper or tracing paper over your masterboard and try again.

  2. Still don't like it? Try folding it and cutting it. This collage shows what the masterboard looks like as 4"x5.5" prints or folios.

  3. Waaaaiiit, don't toss it...

cut it into strips, squares or rectangles and use them as collage folder.

Camila Crafts made a masterboard with horizontal 1" wide strips and rectangles. Gail made a masterboard of diagonal strips while I was working on this spread.

Finally, just fold it up and make a pocket ;)
