Hello everyone. As a future master student at the Rotterdam School of Management the only available building through SSH housing is the Erasmus International House. Looking up online for reviews and it seems horrific! What really scares me the most is not the cleanliness (absent it seems) or the outdated building, but the safety! I read that doors and windows often break (and the help is slow to come) and that there's often weird/dangerous people walking around the hallways! I thought coming to the Netherlands that the higher price for housing also meant higher quality, how can the university put students in these conditions, safety AT LEAST should be the number 1 priority! I don't care about luxury!

On top of that it really baffles me that a building reserved for master students is in such bad conditions! In all other parts of the world the best rooms are reserved master/postgraduate students. I bet they wouldn't have the heart to send the first year 18 year olds in such places, thank God they don't!

Can anyone relate to this?

I am currently a junior in highschool and I want to pursue my bachelors at uErasmus in IBA or econ and business econ. What advice could you give to maximize my chaces of getting in?

My current acomplishments:
Current school president/ member of student parlament.

First semester gpa of 9.72/10 with chances of increasing it even higher for the end of the school year.

Placed ~ 50th in the national economics olympiad with goals of placing higher next year.

Corporate shadowing expierence at big local financial firms (Nasdaq, PwC ect.) and wide ranging volunteering expierence.

Nationally ranked athlete/ member of u20 national team.

Does my math level affect my ranking as long as i meet the requirements? Like could someone with higher math grades than me surpass me in the rankings? Or is it all about your overall gpa?

Hi guys i'm ranked 1050 for IBEB, my friend is ranked 1035 and got an offer today. How confident should I be in recieving an offer?

i just got into IBEB, and i wanted to know if it’s possible to accept both double bachelor in econometrics and economics and ibeb. a while ago i accepted econometrics but i did that through the eur portal like i was told to do in the email.but my ibeb application is asking me to do it through studielink. if i accept ibeb on studielink will my econometrics go away?

hey, i got an offer for economics and business from luiss university and paid the deposit. for eur, my ranking is 1140 for ibeb. i dont know if i will receive and offer but even if i receive it, do you think it is worth wasting the deposit (4700€)? if i want to, my parents are okay to lose it, but im unsure. also idk what to do about the housing crisis. i may be wrong, correct me if so, but afaik i need to pay €1000 deposit for the housing (xior), should i do it? im really torn away rn and dk what to do

Hello, I applied to a numerous fixes programme and got accepted. Today I accepted the application. However, I am still waiting for other responses and I am not sure if I have to pay now or before the course starts in September. In addition, I saw that there is a chance for a refund, but I am not sure if this applies to this year swell

From what I've seen, there seems to be almost no storage in the rooms at xior, only a small closet. How expensive is it to get your room ACTUALLY properly furnished for the full year? because it sucks to pay such a high price and have almost 0 storage. the fridge also seems tiny...

I secured a room at xior today for which I am extremely grateful. It is one of the larger rooms (24m2) and facing outside. However, it is also right next to the elevators and stairs. Does anybody know how much noise I can expect? It's probably not a big issue but I'm just curious, thanks

Realistically how high will the ranking go up. If ranked 1215 what are my chances and already when will I get my offer?

Hey everyone, I’m applying for Xior housing this month and had a quick question. Does anyone have, or know where I can find, the floor plans that show which room numbers face which side? I’d prefer a room that gets good sunlight.

My rank is 1089 and me and my friends are looking for housing, should I risk it and get housing in Rotterdam or look for housing in Leiden/Amsteram, cuz I got accepted to Vrije. Ty

How high will rankings go up?

im still on the waitlist but wanted to ask nonetheless. if i get accepted, what do i need for my final grade? i saw lots of diff comments so im not sure. also, i applied with a 40 predicted, does anyone know if i am expected to meet that predicted grade?

Im ranked in the 1250s in the IBA waiting list. I think I have chances to receive an offer but possibly in the end of July. Im from a Non-EU country so I will need a residence permit (fortunately not visa). However, I saw in the website that immigration procedure should be done before 30th June or 10th July. Will I still be able to get in?

I have also applied to another programme in Erasmus school of economics and already received a conditional offer. Can I start my residence permit here and then transfer it to IBA when I receive the offer in July?? Any information will be of great use.

Can anyone give an opinion about housing at ISHR? I, very luckily, think I have managed to snag a room. Could anyone comment on the quality for the price?

Hello, was wondering if anyone knows where the booking link for Xior will be released? Is it on Erasmus housing page or on Xiors website?
