That's the most problematic part.

That's the most problematic part.

For me this part with the Rubber bushing when the handlebar holder goes in has caused the most problem while riding.

Sometimes it's straight but some days it tilts the handle bar from either side and i have to used shear strength to straighten it.

I know triumph has used a hollow design for the rubber to sit in there and absorb the vibes but this also causes a lot of handlebar alignment issue and some riders barely even notice it, unfortunately for me i notice even the slightest change in my bike.

If anyones found a solution out there or any fix or any kind of Jugaad, please do share your thoughts and ideas??

Worst Triumph Showroom Experience - What do I do?

I have posted about getting a brand new(is it?) Triumph Scrambler 400x on this community a few days back.

I booked the 400cc Scrambler on 16th March 2026 and paid the full amount on 25th March 2026. I wanted it to be delivered on 20th April 2026 for a reason.

Registration was done early and all that. I went on 13th April 2026 to check on the bike and found that the tyres were old, I informed them and they brushed it off, mind you I was getting a "2026" bike with a year old tyre.

When I took the delivery of the bike on the said date, there were nothing done to the bike. No accessories and when I asked them about it they told me it will arrive on the last week of April, shouldn't they have informed to me atleast? And the left side of the indicator was scratched, on a brand new bike. Sure. The chain was rusted and dry, it hadn't been lubed at all despite me telling them an hour before that I would be taking the bike at 5:30PM( They knew I was gonna be picking it up on 20th April evening cause I had texted them about it too).
Further on, I found scratches on the keyhole, yes a brand new keyhole on a brand new bike. The tank stickers were removed, the stickers on the side panel of the bike was removed. The tyre pressure sticker on the swingarm is peeled off(i did tell them about this and they brushed it off)

I should there are mistakes on my side as well, I should have taken the bike with accessories and all that but I did take the bike a month late.

How should I proceed with this?

TLDR: Pissed about the showroom experience, found a lot of defects on a brand new bike.

Advice on Scrambler 400x

Hi Guys, I am planning to buy Scrambler 400X and have some doubts regarding this.

  1. This is my first proper bike before this I have mainly used scooty or 125cc bikes. So if I buy Scrambler 350cc bike instead of 400cc, will I miss something? I just ride under normal speed and occasionally touch 80-95 kmph. Not very fond of high speed.

  2. I mainly drive in cities and planning to start long rides on weekends and once I build the endurance then 1000+ km rides. As per my understanding , this is a bike that is suitable for most of these things. Right?

  3. Finally, I work in Bengaluru and this bike is 35k cheaper in my hometown. Anyways I am not going to be in Bengaluru forever as I frequently change cities due to IT job. I am planning to buy the bike in my hometown and get it shipped here to save me money. So is this okay? Or will there be any problems with servicing or anything?

Is something wrong or needs to be worried?

I gave my bike for service last Thursday.

Today after riding a bike I kept my bike kn parking and saw this liquid mark below the bike.

I am not sure what it is. Do I need to be worried or take my bike to service center again?

Speed 400 custom paint

Hey guys, I’m based in Pune and planning to buy a Speed 400. The dealer offered a custom tank paint job for ₹15k — not sure if it’s worth it. Has anyone here gone for it?

If not, what are some good alternatives in Pune? I’d love to give my bike a unique touch.

The chain tensioner issue

I have a scrambler 400X bought on 30th November last year. Felt a loose metal clinking noise from the engine which would eventually fade after a 3-4 hour ride. Last month went to the SC in Goregaon east where they adjusted the chain tensioner and did an ecu update. Initially felt the difference but now i hear another weird ticking sound which is even more prominent. How do i know if my tensioner is the old one and how do I convince them to replace it with the new one if it is indeed an old one. Thanks!

Speed 400 OEM windshield

Hi, How much does the speed400 oem windshield cost?. Mine got scratched. Is it removable by headlight polish? Or is it better to add a tinted coating on the windshield to cover the scratches?
