TrimUI is very EDC but still not easy to throw around so it will be my main device. I’ve thought of the Miyoo Flip Mini. Is it easy to exchange SD Card to continue playing between devices?

Or any other suggestions you guys suggest or have experience?

Running into an issue where my save state just gets stuck at 0% when I try to save my game and then when I go to quit, the whole system just freezes. No restarting fixes the issue. I have saving at auto right now.

Should I be saving a different way other than menu > save ?

Hey everyone,

My trimui brick is about 6 months old and I was running Knulli when it refused to wake up one day. I've tried every possible solution to no avail, see my previous post for more details.

I tried powering on with/without battery, with/without SD card, different sd card, recovery image, Knulli, reset button, etc.

The brick seems to charge when connected to the computer - the LED is red and turns green after a few hours. It also gets very hot. This matches the limbo problem's description as I've read here.

Does anyone know of a reliable fix? Is there a way maybe to short something on the PCB to reset the CPU for real? Is TrimUI responding to inquiries about this? Is there maybe a way to get a new motherboard without paying 50$?

TL;DR - brick stuck in limbo, looking for advanced solutions.

I love NextUI but have run into some issues I’d like help with. I am on the latest version.

1. When entering sleep mode and resuming, the audio will skip every 10 seconds or so. I’ve experienced this for all games and all emulators.
2. maybe this is an SD card thing or something else on my end, but on several occasions when I’ve put my SD card in my computer to add games, my NextUI settings will reset. meaning custom colors, font, box art settings, etc. also, some of my saves no longer load (save states or in game). I thought maybe it’s because of the format you have to specify in the settings, but I tried all of them and even though my saves are present on the sd card, some just don’t load. I couldn’t load a save for LoZ Oracle of Seasons, for example, that I have almost 10 hours on. To clarify, it won’t even show the save states, and the in game save just isn’t being picked up. Also, why doesn’t it just infer which save format to use? Why do I have to specify this in the NextUI settings m? I have different formats for different systems sometimes. Is this a limitation or am I missing something?

I love this OS but losing saves and audio issues keep me from wanting g to continue using it.

In 2 weeks I will have q trimui smart pro as a birthday gift, when i heard about crossmix i knew i had to install it, I have already downloaded the .zip to get ready for the trimui but i don´t see moonlight anywhere. Someone pleeeeeaaase answer the questions I left. I love yall guys

1.- ¿When you instal the latest version of CrossMix it comes whit moonlight included?

2.- ¿If it doesn´t comes with moonlight then how do I install it?

I bought a hard case from Amazon that claimed to be for the Smart Pro, but it's huge in comparison to the handheld so it isn't held securely. All the others on Amazon seem to be the same case.

Considering the Smart Pro is so similar the Vita, would a Vita hard case fit it? I just want a case that will actually protect it.

Unfortunately because of where I'm based, the Trimui website and Etsy aren't options for me to get hard cases designed for it, I did look into those.

I have the Miyoo Mini+ and have been enjoying Diablo a lot on it. But my son has really been taking over it so I'm looking at the TrimUI Brick.

Was wondering, what games can I play on the Brick, that I cant on the MM+?

Game switcher is essential as is shaders and the best quality sound with optimal standby time with no bugs or glitches?

Is there anything out there from all the options that just does all the above? Don't need anything extra on this device for my usage.
