I find it very odd that Tailgate is commonly shown as a blue and white cliffjumper

In the show, after brightening up the scenes he’s in, he’s very clearly red, and has a different head design, which is visible in the second pic. Obviously this is due to them reusing cliff jumpers model, though.

Would Elita-1 be better as a Jet or a Car?

So a bit of context:

I'm currently in the midst of writing a book/fanfiction based on my own version of Transformers, which is a mix of Transformers Prime and Transformers One (although it's closer to the aligned/ Transformers Prime continuity).

Not trying to spoil too much, but in this universe, Elita is forged as a seeker during the era of the Caste System, and she's basically blamed for a crime she didn't commit, gets arrested and banished from Vos (the city of seekers), and sent to be scraped or incinerated. Before she is though, she is saved by O-16 (Orion pax) and D-16, two low-class miner bots. In her arrest, she basically gets her wings damaged to the point that she can't transform or fly (not properly). So at that point, she's forced to lie low and pretend to be a miner bot like Orion and D.
Anyway, skipping on, the war begins, and in one of the first battles, Elita gets struck down and nearly dies; she is then restored with the power of the Forge of Solus Prime thanks to Alpha Trion. This means she's fixed and can transform again.
Fast forward again; Elita does not accompany Optimus on the Ark and remains on Cybertron with Ultra Magnus, up until Shockwave (Who also stayed behind to command the Decepticons after Megatron chased after Optimus) finally cornered the remaining Autobots. Ultra Magnus was forcefully saved by Elita, but Elita was captured by Shockwave and was stuck with him until Shockwave was discovered to be alive by Knockout and was brought to Earth. At some point, Elita escapes her cell on the Nemesis and finds the Autobots.

When Elita finally comes to Earth, she initially has a flying form, but I've been debating whether she should keep it or not. One point for it is that it is a tactical advantage for the Autobots since they are all landform bots (except maybe Optimus, I'm still debating on giving him beefed-up form). On the other hand though, it has limits; I think a flying form may be too noticeable for a good disguise. Although a landform would be more ingonito, you also lose that advantage, and a key part of her history.

*Note* Transformers before the war (or before Earth, rather) cannot change or acquire new vehicular modes on their own; they don't discover they can emulate other vehicles until they get to Earth. If you're a seeker/flyer your a flyer, if you're a land vehicle your a land vehicle, etc. Once they get to Earth, bots can choose whatever form they want, no matter their original function, but most stick to their original ones because it's familiar. During the war on Cybetron, Shockwave created a procedure to forcefully change a landbot into a flyer/ seeker, but it was dangerous and terribly painful; it is also permanent, so they can't change forms or gain a new vehicular form, and they are stuck as they are.

One solution I have thought of is maybe to use that period of her being nabbed by Shockwave to my advantage, say maybe he somehow made a way to make bots triple changers and subjected her to that experiment? Although I don't want to make her overpowered, it seems like a good solution to my problem. I mean, Shockwave did make the procedure to forcefully make a landbots into flyers, so it's not far-fetched to assume he would try to do both.

Overall, I'm not sure, so if you all have opinions or suggestions, please let me know.

(Also, credit to the artist of the art, I make no claim to them and only am using them for representation purposes. If you have an issue with this, please contact me)

Where does Scourge stop?

Personally, I think he stops at Wheeljack/Smokescreen.

Edit: Everyone, I cannot thank you enough for the views…. I… I wish you could all understand what this kind of attention means to me.

Who would honestly win in a fight?

Honestly in an all out fight no holding back, max power, no cheats. who would win the fight?

Season 1 Optimus prime

Megatron

Or

Predaking.

Watching Megatron & Optimus Become Temporary Allies Was so Cool

It's sad that they're enemies. If Megatron wasn't a psycho, their combined powers would've been unmatched.

They're both the strongest transformers in the show (except for Predaking). So seeing them become allies was surreal.

Megatron Is so Overpowered, and One of My Favorite TFP Characters

I truly believe this Megatron truly depicts him as a sharp, cunning, and unyielding force of evil.

First of all - he was born in the worker class and was generally a regular transformers until he became a Gladiator. His physical build and strength is almost unmatched. In terms of raw power, I feel that he's even stronger than Optimus Prime. Megatron is more of a powerhouse, while Optimus uses strategy when battling.

Megatron is power hungry, but also shows profound intelligence and tact when going about his strategies to defeat the Autobots and obtaining world domination. Across all shows, I feel that this show depicts him in the most accurate/terrifying manner.

what if Silas sucessfully secured project damocles for megatron. what would happen in the rest of the show and what would happen to silas after he sucessfully secured project damocles in the human factor.

Please don't say that megatron will anyway turn him into a lab rat. try to come up with a different way of how this would go.

What is the best place to post a Transformers fanfic/unofficial book?

So I’m currently writing a book/fanfiction set in my own Transformers universe, which is basically a combination of Transformers Prime and Transformers One (though it leans closer to the aligned continuity/Transformers Prime). Now it is heavily inspired by Transformers Prime, but I’m taking a lot of creative liberties. Such as backstory, certain characters being present or not present. And shining the spotlight on some characters that didn’t show up in Transformers Prime or that I like personally.

The book's main character is Elita-1 and it focuses the story from her perspective for the most part.
I haven’t fully started writing yet, but I plan that the story I'm working on right now is going to focus on the time before the war, so pre-war Cybertron, and will probably end either sometime after the Ark leaves or when Elita first gets to Earth, which is quite some time after the Ark crashed into Earth. So basically if it were like the Transformers Prime show, it would be like season two.

The thing is though, I don’t know which site would be the best place to publish this on.
I’ve considered heavily doing Wattpad since I’m familiar with it. But I don’t know if other websites are better. I’ve also thought about doing AO3 but I’m not familiar with that website.

If you have any recommendations or tips, they would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I don’t know if this is relevant, but I am planning on making possible sequels focusing on different perspectives like Optimus, Megatron, and maybe Starscream.

Again, thank you for any help you can provide or tips.

would you have watched this

say the aligned continuity had continued away would you have watched a sequel series of Beastwars it just feels like that's a good place it could have headed if it hadn't ended, and started falling apart.

You guys think Starscream was really serious about joining the autobots in this scene?

I was always puzzled about this in this episode. Starscream of ooo genuine about changing sides but at the same time, it IS Starscream. While he is my favorite and I want him to be okay, I still am a little weary about him telling the truth about joining them.

Maybe if the didn't spilled the beans about killing Cliffjumper, he could have joined. But at the same time, he did stabbed Arcee while she was vulnerable and beated the scrap out of her when she was bleeding.

But what do you all think?

knockout is right to be angry at silas but how doesn't he know that airachnid is the one that killed breakdown?

Whilst knockout's anger towards silas is justified. he shoudn't only be angry at silas cause airachnid is the one who killed breakdown and it is quite apparent.

when breakdown died in ep7 of season 2 and dreadwing came back to the warship and knockout saw that breakdown didn't, he should logically piece two and two together and know that airachnid is the one that killed breakdown given that she too defected from the Cons after the incident.

plus in ep 12 of seaosn 12 it is made clear that he is fully aware that breakdown is dead.

plus he even later mentions to Starscream in seaosn 3 ep 8 that she locked up tight on our warship. given he knows this fact he should know the she is an enemy of the cons and that she is locked up on the warship inside the stasis pod for a reason.

TLDR: he should have known that airachnid is. the one who killed breakdown given that she dissapeared from the nemesis and the cons on the same day breakdown died

At the end of the human factor, I feel Megatron betrayed Silas not only because he felt disgusted, but also because he genuinely cares about the named Decepticons (breakdown and knockout in this case) wellbeing . (beyond their usefulness to him)in his own way and actually wants them to be happy.

Megatron regarding breakdown

Megatron questioning dreadwing regarding breakdown's remains

Even though megatron rarely shows it, he does care about named decepticons. as of this point in the show, when breakdown died and dreadwing was unable to find his remains, megatron seems pissed sort of.

this shows that megatron did care about breakdown in this context more than his use as a tool and wanted to bury him properly as he deserved. he might have wanted to honor breakdown's memory as a fallen hero. he may act tough and ruthless but when an actually loyal named deceticon dies, he cares and feels sad just like optimus does but doesn't show it as much.

calls breakdown's loss unfortunate

he even calls the loss of breakdown unfortunate.

Megatron regarding silas and why he hated him

megatron meets silas and is absolutely disgusted by him.

when silas meets megatron for the first time, megatron is absolutely disgusted, not because it is a vehicon who was butchered( he doesn't care about them individual as he is seen on numerous occassions threathening them with death, threw one of the warship(lol) and even let zombie cliffjumper kill one of them) , but because silas butchered breakdown, one of his finer warrior and a named con.

he personally felt disgusted and mortified by what silas has done to breakdown for two reasons. one desecrating the corpse of a named decepticon and living inside it's flesh and piloting the corpse is an insult to all of them and the cause. it's basically silas showing of to them like i cut open your friends corpose and wearing his body as a mechsuit accept me. that would piss anyone off and given that they are a millitary faction there would have been strong commradre.

Megatron relationship with named decepticons. he cares for other named decepticons apart from soundwave( example knockout and dreadwing )

whilst megatron is a more strict leader than optimus he isn't a monster to his subordinates compared to let's say muzan from demon slayer( who punished akaza even though he killed a hashira, sladered up6's deaths and killed all the lower moons).

knockout casually boasting to megatron

for instance here knockout is casually boasting to megatron, that oh look i got this boss, but megatron simply scolds him for being a douche. that isn't to bad.

megatron scolds knockout for being overconfident.

gives knockout an insections

he even later on gives him an insection showing that he doesn't want the mission to fail as well as not have knockout killed. whislt you could argue that he did it more for the mission sake but not for knockout personally there are more arguments that shows he cares for named decepticons.

Later when knockout fails to retrive the phase shifter he doesn't scold or punish him, he simply asks him to examine laserbeak and do his job and dispose of the grenande.

megatron knows knockout goes on racing excursions.

megatron even knows that knockout goes on racing excursion abd based on the dialogue even permits it but makes sure that knockout knows the difference between a racing excusion and a mission. so in a way he wants to keep named cons happy and in sound mental health.

knockout casually complains to megatron.

when hardshell scratches knockout he complains to megatron casually saying look at these foul beasts they scratched me, megatron here just retorts it's just a scratch get over it. once again he doesn't yell or berate knockout he simply tells him bro it's just a sratch ( optimus would have done the same if he were in the same place although to a lesser extent).

megatron and knockout talk about OP and securuty

hell even when knockout question him to beef up security megatron gives a calm explanation to put his mind at ease saying that no doing so would make orion nervous but he also made sure that his workstation is next to the storage vault for good measure.

megatorn sarcastically telling knockout he is shocked he would risk his finish given the accident

hell he even knows about how much knockout cares for his finish and his comfortable enough to have casualt conversation with him.

megatorn complements knockout

he complented knockout to make him feel good about himself.

Megatron allows dreading to avenge his twin

Megatorn even tolerated dreadwing outright defying his order to try and kill optimus in memory of skywyake. so he does care about his feelings somewhat atleast. later one when dreadwing even returns having failed so to kill optimus he comforts hims saying that you were lucky. earlier in the episode he even assures him that the autobots will pay for their crimes although when he sees fit.

megatorn adressing dreadwings difficulty in accepting starscream and his sadness regarding the loss of skyquake.

megatron even goes out of his way to search for dreading to comfort him regarding the loss of skyquake under screams command and even wants them to be peace.

Megatron betrays silas

Megatron is telling Silas that he earned the right to be a lab rat.

megatron here betrays silas and tells him he earned the right to be a lab rat for knockout. personally i think he did this because as stated earlier he has a good relationship with knockout and didn't want to ruin that. he cared for knockouts emotional wellbeing and allowing him to torture silas for what he did. also to keep his genuine loyalty. he didn't want to make his medic sad.

but also because he respected breakdown and silas using his corpose as a weapon desecrated breakdowns memory and sadned megatorn cause deep down i think when he heard when breakdown died he wanted to bury him with the full honor he deserved. I think megatron wanted revenge just as much as knockout not because silas insulted the decepticons, but because he as a human desecrated someone megatron considered a comrade and dare i say to a lesser extent a true brother in arms.

TLDR: I think megatorn betraying silas was done more on an emotional basis rather than a rational one as he was quite sad with what he did to breakdown and wanted to avenge his memory and honor just as much as knockout.

Soo I’m confused on Shockwave

I’m apologizing from now bc this is long.

I’m very confused on the “Aligned continuity” thing when it comes down to shockwave and the dinobots but more so shockwave. During grimlocks mission in Transformers foc grimlock bit off shockwaves arm (Left arm if I’m correct) and tail swiped him off control tower that was stabilizing the wormhole. So my confusion is by assumption the dinobots did die following the explosion of the tower and they were much further than shockwave was from the blast, (in my mind anyway) so how did he survive and how or when did he fix his arm? I would assume that shockwaves injuries were to severe to transform being that he got the arm that he primarily used for his cannon bit off. So does shockwaves just have Batman level plot armor or is there a rational explanation as to why he isn’t dead?
