I saw a post a while ago about nourishing gems and everyone dumped on this dude. I dont believe in save editing but I dont think this dude was doing that. I dont his post anymore so I'll post this deep search I did about the glyph he was using:

If you actually had a 23.6% Nourishing gem drop with a +15 flat secondary, you have essentially witnessed the rarest possible "natural" event in Bloodborne—an Out-of-Effect (OOE) Secondary.

While standard game mechanics restrict high-tier +15 secondaries to "Abyssal" bosses like Amygdala, there is a nearly microscopic chance for a non-Abyssal boss like the Merciless Watchers to deviate from their preset drop table.

Conflict of Tiers: In legitimate gameplay, +15 flat secondaries are tied to Tier 20 (Abyssal) gems. The Merciless Watchers typically cap at Tier 19, which normally limits their secondaries to lower values (like +8.1 or +10.4).

Save-Edited Glyphs: If you were farming in a popular community glyph like 67vp7kab or p3umyztu, you were likely in a save-edited dungeon. These dungeons are tweaked by "Tomb Prospectors" to force specific effects into the drop pool, making these "impossible" combinations significantly more common than in a standard random dungeon.

Yes, the use of the 67vp7kab glyph is exactly why that happened. This specific dungeon is a famous save-edited chalice created by the Tomb Prospectors community to bypass the game's standard drop restrictions.Here is how that edited glyph "broke" the rules for you:Isolated Gem Pool: In a standard Isz dungeon, the Merciless Watchers have a massive pool of possible drops, making a 23.6% Nourishing gem nearly impossible (0.25% chance). In 67vp7kab, editors removed almost all other effects from the "gempool," boosting the drop rate of Nourishing gems to roughly 1%.Forced Secondaries: Standard Watcher gems (Tier 19) are normally capped at lower secondary values. However, because this glyph is heavily edited to favor high-tier "Isz effects," it allows the Watchers to drop secondaries like +15 flat Arcane or Physical that are technically reserved for Tier 20 Abyssal bosses.

That was A LOT of copy and pasting. So here you all go. You all got bent out of shape and accused someone of cheating. Everyone needs to stop being know it alls.

I got some 23.6 nourishing gems as a byproduct of farming for 32.6 bloodtinge gems. Is there a better way for farm them? I got my bloodtinge gems but I still want more nourishing gems. Should I just keep doing the same farm or is there a better one with higher drop chance? Is the drop chance for 23.6 nourishing gems slightly higher in pwmf22gu perhaps?

Hello Prospectors! I have played Bloodborne quite a bit in the past and now want to do it again. I've been silently lurking in this sub quite a bit, and I find absolutely fascinating how much the game's community invested in finding every kind of things, from forgotten assets to exceptionally rare drops. So... I sort of wanted to start deep delving into the chalice dungeons myself. Do you people have any suggestions? I appreciate any insight!

I thought the only prerequisite to searching glyphs was doing frc dungeons, but I just finished one and I still can’t search for this particular glyph, what gives?

Hello Fellow Tomb Prospectors!

I decided that I wanted to do an Isz Chalice with all three of the F/R/C rites attached to it! Upon doing this, I had fun! It’s my first time doing this a chalice with all of the rites in place. But I found some interesting discoveries, and wanted to share it with you all in case you wanted to farm some gems, certain materials, and etc!

In the entire glyph, I managed to find tons of Ritual Blood (5)s, Tomb Mold (5)s, and Pearl Slugs! I lost count of of how many I found lol. In one of the chests in Layer 4, one chest had 9 slugs in it! Which I thought was pretty cool! I also found 2 Great One Coldbloods in Layer 4. In one of the layers (I think it was the Layer 4 first secret room), I found the Lost Ludwig’s Holy Blade!

The bosses are:

Layer 1 - Merciless Watcher’s
Layer 2 - Brainsucker
Layer 3 - Ebrietas, Daughter of The Cosmos
Layer 4 - Celestial Emissary

One a side note, I definitely recommend using the advanced Eye Rune, in case you wanna farm some decent gems! Also, this chalice does of the witch of hemwick mobs with her mad ones (the amount of times I died.. ugh), and other types annoying enemies that I can’t think of the name of at the moment.

Hey ya’ll! It’s me again, decided to do a another FRC chalice dungeon, this time with the pthumeru ihyll chalice! The secret room right before the boss has a Blood Rock in it! Just in case anyone is farming Blood Rocks

How do you farm rare stones: Do you complete the entire dungeon each time, or do you load the save file right before the boss each time?
