Wasp wanted to hitch a ride outside
Small Spider
I opened my garage door and noticed this guy coming down on a strand of silk. I put my hand out to try to get a picture (otherwise the camera would focus on the car). He landed on my hand so I was able to get a good photo. I am not sure of the species, but I think it’s a male. He’s tiny whatever he may be.
Unfortunately I couldn't quite get it *on* my finger, only near it, but this twenty-plumed moth I found on my fridge door is tiny!
A goby swam onto me during a dive
Before anybody gets upset about touching marine life, let me explain that little fella swam onto me without my knowledge. When I first noticed him I was in mid water and he had nowhere else to go except to stay close to me.
My theory is that he hopped on while I was taking some close up photos of something else. I checked my computer and was surprised to see him tucked in there.
I took a few pics, then swam to the nearest patch of coral and set him on his way.
Hello hoomans!
Walking across my driveway with a lonnnnng way to go in either direction….
Hmmmmm.
Millipede On Trail
I was doing some trail maintenance work at my local state park (in northern VA) and kind of dug out the soil and leaf litter where this friend was hiding. After a little photo session, I removed him to a safer spot.

Baby millipede!
I was setting up an isopod culture for my ivory millipede when I realized the dirt I collected had lots of baby greenhouse millipedes! I love millipedes to an unreasonable degree so now I will become their father too!
