Japanese Thrash Metal?

Hello Metal Heads,
Could you suggest me some thrash metal band from Japan? The lyrics can be English or Japanese - doesn't matter.

D.R.I. 2026 US tour

Kurt, Spike, and Co. are touring a bunch this year. I’m getting ready to see them on Friday (May 15th) in OKC. I haven’t seen them since 1990 (Jezebel’s, Anaheim,CA w/Excel and others…Katon from Hirax was at that show!). It’s gonna be rad!

Is the merch booth/table taking cash and card or just card?

Anyone else see them this year or last year? What did you think?

HEATHEN - 1987 - Breaking The Silence - Breaking The Silence

Screaming for sanction with every breath,

break through the silence as you enter your quest,

misguided fortune, lost in your fear,

when wil you see what is so clear

Will we stand still and watch the blood spell,

until the blood is our own,

the ones who deceive, lie that they are true,

but where are they when you fall

We 're Breaking The Silence

so hear what I say,

just listen in silence, it's the only way.

Clinging transparent your energy they'll drain,

They 'll help you down and prick your vain

unstable future you face in the mirror,

when will you face all your fears.

Will we stand still and watch the blood spell,

until the blood is our own,

the ones who deceive, lie that they are true,

but where are they when you fall

We 're Breaking The Silence

so hear what I say,

just listen in silence, it's the only way.

Screaming for sanction with every breath,

break through the silence as you enter your quest,

misguided fortune, lost in your fear,

when wil you see what is so clear

Will we stand still and watch the blood spell,

until the blood is our own,

the ones who deceive, lie that they are true,

but where are they when you fall.

If you break the silence,

there's a price to pay,

you must take an alliance,

it's the only way.

Breaking The Silence

What rabbit hole would thoroughly surprise me?

In the 00s in JHS and HS I fell in love with Metalica and Dream Theater, especially after Guitar Hero, and always had an affinity for Classic Rock/ 70s-early 90s pop rock. I was stuck on playlists and just those being my favorite and never really ventured out to the deep end. During Covid I was reccomended KGLW and enjoyed some of their discography until PetroDragonic gave me that rush that Metallica did in the 00s. So I recently did some research after loving the KLGW PetroDragonic album and was reccomended Megadeth which was a thorough surprise and I understood that I loved this type of metal (harmonic singing/guitar riffs, melodic solos that shred).

With some of these discoveries I've made, what rabbit hole would you recommend either in order of discovery or out of order/have at it?

It’s For the Kids full song

Absolutely brilliant. Fast thrash, huge vocal hooks, a stomping mosh part, and a long solo by Jon. It’s fucking great!
