I was back and forth with this and finally just caved and pre-ordered it. This 200w Waffle Iron is a steal of a deal and after seeing Jon from Conan using a mini type head it convinced me. Like I need more gear.🙄 🙄 🙄 Live life and buy cool shit.

Actually, all instruments in this video aside from the acoustic are played through Sunn amps and cabs. The pedal steel, blue Strat, and pink Bass VI are all going through the Sceptre and staggered 412. The bass guitar is going into my Alpha Four and 215 cab.
Pedals used:
• Westminster Effects Calvin Compressor (on everything but the Bass VI)
• Boss SD-1 (on the Strat)
• Westminster Effects Wycliffe (on bass and Bass VI)
• Montreal Assembly Uppers (on Bass VI)
• Strymon Nightsky (added to pedal steel and Strat in post)
I mic’d everything with a cheap old Audio Technica something or other.

These are for sale near me and im curious about them. Im not the most familiar with Sunn cabinets, are these a PA or a bass cabinet? I was wondering if theyd work well on guitar? Theyre asking 500 for the pair but are open to offers
Found this beauty the other day in SoCal. Pretty much defines Big Iron Tone… but achieved at more moderate volumes. Reverb is deep cranked. Top boosts have glorious VOX chime, but lots of variety to boost. Distortion switch is actually really cool and drives the amp unlike any pedal I’ve experienced. Any collectors itching for the rarest Sunn amp? I’m in a downsize mode but couldn’t pass this up to enjoy for a few days at least 😜
Been waiting for this amp for months and been dying to hear some more tones out of this amp from people who have bought the mini outside the videos sunn have already posted, if anybody could post something i'd appreciate it.
Personally im looking forward to cranking out some melvins riff with this amp and am interested to see what you guys have been playing on it

Just picked up this absolute monster of a vintage Sunn bass cabinet and figured you guys would appreciate it. Roughly 30x30x15 with the original Altec Lansing 18” speaker still installed.
This cab came out of church storage and the condition is honestly insane for its age. Original foam damping is still intact, grill cloth is super clean, casters are still there, and the inside looks completely untouched.
From what I can tell it’s a folded horn design. Would love more info on the exact model/year and what these realistically go for nowadays. Definitely one of the coolest vintage Sunn pieces I’ve come across. 🤘

I realized one of my speakers is torn in 4x10 BL combo and want to get a pair to swap in. Not looking to find original speakers, just something modern that will work with 2 of the originals. The problem is they are unmarked and I have no idea what wattage or impedance is in there now. I know it's wired for 4ohms but not sure exactly how it was wired. Any idea what came in the OG Beta Lead combos? Thanks for any help.
