Rick the Mechanic

Rick the mechanic

Body and arms from Stargrave Crew, head from Scavengers.

Rick, a retired special ops crew member, is now a mechanic providing ship repairs in shady parts of his home planet. To most mechanics the possibility of not getting paid by space gangs is too much risk for them to take, but to Rick it’s a job perk. He just tracks them down and after some ‘friendly conversations’, usually including his large wrench, he will get the amount that’s owed to him with a little extra as a bonus.

Mounted character

There's no rules for this in game but I thought y'all would get a kick out of it, I used the dead man's hand mounted gunfighters as a base and female stargrave kits for the sci-fi gubbins

If you want to make male characters like this, keep the wild west torso and use female stargrave arms, they're a bit smaller and the male parts don't quite fit right

Mercenary ship

A scratch built ship I did a while back for my crew the flatline dogs, I was scrolling through my IG and forgot how much I liked how it came out!

New Stargrave Crew App

I have just released my first attempt at a Crew app for Stargrave. The app allows you to create and manage multiple crews, track your ship info, it operates as an in game Crew Sheet to track health, powers, target numbers, loot, equipment etc. It has a pretty comprehensive level up system, and a flexible Codex that allows you to add and edit backgrounds, powers, soldiers, creatures, and ship stuff!

You can import and export the codex, so you can share any homebrew that you create in your app with your friends. You can even generate pdf crew sheets and ship sheet if you prefer pen and paper!

The app has the ability to add photos of your minis so you always know which mini you should be playing, and it tracks activation as well!

Oh, most importantly, the app is free to use and doesn't contain adds!

You can find the app at https://stargrave.section-iv.com you can install the app as a web app (or 'add to home screen' on iOS) and it is really designed to use on a tablet during a game.

If you find this app useful you can buy me a coffee at https://buymeacoffee.com/jur451c .

If you find any bugs, anything that is wrong (I've only played the game a couple of times) or have any ideas for improvements, please let me know!!

You can also find an app for Frostgrave at https://frostgrave.section-iv.com and an app for the great fantasy wrestling game Rumbleslam at https://rumbleslam-booker.section-iv.com .

Mystic Trance

I’ve been playing Frostgrave for a while and decided to branch out into Stargrave. I’m thinking of going for a mystic captain and kitbashing à themed crew making use of some Frostgrave cultist bits that Ive got spare.

I’m trying to get to grips with the various powers. What’ve people found to be the best uses for Mystic Trance?

Thematically it seems an obvious choice but how would I make best use from it in terms of gameplay?
