Table Direct on the Cyfrwy Arête (Cadair Idris).

This one’s a throwback, in case the blue skies didn’t make that obvious.

Beddgelert in Snowdonia

Beddgelert is one of those places that never changes. I've been visiting this North Wales village on and off for some 60 years and although it has obviously changed in some ways to accommodate the motor car it is basically still the same as always. In the context of the surrounding mountains and river it is but a blot on the landscape. A village shop, a hotel and a few houses and of course the grave of famous dog that gives the village its name. Go look for yourself if you ever visit Snowdonia. #beddgelertsnowdonia #beddgelertnorthwales

Hey all - spending 5 days in Snowdonia in July. Where to stay? Hostel in the park, Betsw-y-coed, a campsite?

We are planning to do a day of hard scrambling, the Welsh 3000s challenge, a rest day/bimble, then sea kayaking in Anglesey.

There is a nice AirBnB in Betws-y-coed I'm eyeing up vs a YHA within the park.

What would be more fun for a group of 4 lads?

Cheers all.
