Industrial Sludge?

I’m looking for more industrial bands but everywhere I look people always recommend Rob Zombie or Rammstein but I want something heavier and more raw, I like Godflesh a little bit but it still doesn’t scratch that itch.

Dirt Pedals into Clean or Dirty Amp?

Am I the only one that can never seem to get a good tone from a distorted/fuzz pedal into a clean amp? I know it’s pretty common in especially in the doom metal sphere (which is what I’m mainly playing) with guys like Mike Scheidt from YOB, Jus Oborn from Electric Wizard (in the earlier days), etc… For me anytime I try that it just sounds terribly harsh with no mids or low end. So I always end up running my dirt pedals through an amp with a bit of crunch already going. Just curious on y’all’s thoughts and experiences. Peace!

Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode (Doom/sludge cover)

As the title suggests, here is my doom/sludge reinterpretation of this Depeche Mode classic. I have a YT channel called COVERED IN SLUDGE, and this is my second release.

Albums like In The Name Of Suffering.

Hello everyone, I am a big fan of in the name of suffering and I want to find more albums like it. I have listened to the other Eyehategod releases and while I do like them, ITNOS just hits a little different due to the hardcore influences being so prevalent. Thanks!

What would have been high on fire’s first show??

Years ago, Henry from the bands floor/dove/cavity/house of lighting gave me this tape. He said he was in San Francisco with band mate Jason, cavity/black cobra and Jason suggested Henry come with him to a show. “The guitar player from sleep has a new band”. He said they walked into “bottom of the hill” and Jason put a boombox on his shoulder and hit record. This tape is the result and is the only copy. What should I do with it other than listing to it at my house alone? Should I upload it to YouTube or is that not cool???

Favorite Floor songs not on Self Titled.

Been recently diving into the unreleased stuff by Floor and it's incredible. Super heavy, interesting ideas and way ahead of the curve for most of the stuff being recorded in 94. Only issue is there are 11 releases full of material and I don't have the time to listen to it all. What are guys favorites hfrom their unreleased stuff?

Please recommend Sludge that mainly focus on low-end guttural harsh vocals!

Something along death doom and powerviolence

Went through old 7" collection and I think Florida deserves more love.

I only lived there briefly but those guys down there were killing it back then.
