Went through old 7" collection and I think Florida deserves more love.
I only lived there briefly but those guys down there were killing it back then.

Our entire genre died, no one could come up with a riff anymore. It was awful!
Back in early 90s L7 was on tour with The Melvins. At the New Orleans Jazz Hall show in 91 or 92 something happened and The Melvins failed to show. The Jazz Hall quickly.changed the show to Crowbar opening for L7 at the last minute.
My friends and I were happy as fuck, didn't care. We were happy to see Crowbar. Anyway, we were pressed up.against the rail excited as fuck and these girls tap us on the shoulder. It's the L7 ladies. They say "you guys seem really excited, is this band good". We were like oh shit, hold on and watch!
Anyway, I picked them up off the pit floor over and over and they were bleeding and yelling into my ear "Holy Fuck these guys are fucking sick". They gave it up hard and fell madly in love.
Amazing people. We broke ass for them later during their set as well.
