Girlypops of Reddit, are your men also into skincare? If no, why?

I've noticed recently that a lot of guys have started actually taking care of their skin properly and i think it's genuinely great! But iI still see people saying it's not "manly" enough...
What are your thoughts on this? and does your bf actually have a skincare routine or is he still just using whatever soap is in the shower and calling it a day

Fell for her, then fell for her skincare routine

The relationship didn't last. The 6-step routine did.

Tonight, I took my revenge 😈

Tonight, I took my revenge.

My wife said, “Don’t touch that, it’s expensive.”

That should’ve been the end of it.

But ever since she said that, that bottle has been sitting on the bathroom shelf looking at me funny.

And I haven’t forgotten the day I paid for it.

At checkout, she picked it up like it was milk.

I looked at the price.

Looked at her.

Looked at the price again.

For a second I thought this better come with monthly returns.

She got home, washed her face, used two drops, and went to bed like nothing happened.

Nothing.

No glowing halo. No background music. No dramatic reveal.

Just sleep.

Meanwhile I’ve been walking past that bottle for four days thinking, there is no way this little guy won.

Tonight she went out.

The bathroom was quiet.

Too quiet.

I walked in like I was settling an old score.

Picked up the bottle. Read the label. Still didn’t understand a single word. Applied two drops anyway.

At first, nothing.

Then I caught my reflection.

And I froze.

Why do I look like I pay taxes on time?

Why does my skin look calmer than my entire life?

I stood there for a full five minutes.

Just me.

The mirror.

And a level of softness I was not emotionally prepared for.

So yeah.

Tonight, I took my revenge.

And unfortunately… my wife may have been right.

Why sunscreen is a must!?!?!

I used to think sunscreen was just for beach days or summer afternoons,

but here’s what I learned: UV damage happens every day, even when the sky is cloudy.

In India, the heat right now is absolutely scorching, and even sitting indoors by a window, those UVA rays are creeping in. Science shows that UVA rays penetrate clouds, windows, and even indoor lighting, causing premature ageing and hidden damage.

So, I’ve made it a daily habit: every morning, even if I’m inside, I apply sunscreen as part of my routine.

And it’s not just a skin thing, this small daily ritual is part of how I care for myself in this heat, staying mindful and balanced every step of the way.

Myth Busting Mondays: Oily skin doesn’t need moisturiser.

I used to think that if my skin was oily, I didn’t need moisturiser.
But I was wrong.

What I learned is that when your skin is dehydrated, it actually produces more oil to compensate.
Now, I use a lightweight gel moisturizer, and it’s helped me feel more balanced.

The science backs it up when we hydrate, the sebaceous glands calm down and regulate more effectively.

But skincare doesn’t stop at products, daily habits matter too. Drinking enough water supports overall skin function, while regular exercise improves circulation and helps maintain healthy skin. Just don’t forget to cleanse and rehydrate after sweating.

Remember, hydration is the key.

Surviving India’s Hottest Summer Days🔥- My Go To Sunscreen.

Guys, I can’t even describe how intense this heat wave is.
The last few days in India have been unreal. Every step outside, it feels like the sun is just burning up everything.

I’ve been using the Mixsoon Centella sunscreen for quite a while, and I can’t believe what a difference it makes. The texture is like a smooth, milky cream, no white cast, just a perfect blend into my skin.

And after skipping it for just one day, I could actually see my skin starting to get irritated.
Now, I never leave the house without it.

How are you surviving this heat??
