I try to answer questions on this sub occasionally, but oftentimes the top-voted comment is incorrect. Putting the YG/Sparxie doomposting aside, in this thread about using a substat blocker on a 4liner with only 2 good stats, the top response is to NOT use a blocker.

Here's the math, assuming either 4/5 rolls or 5/5 rolls are considered good:

- no blocker: nCr(5,4)*(2/4)^4 * (2/4)^1 + nCr(5,5) * (2/4)^5 = 0.1875

- with blocker: nCr(5,4)*(2/3)^4 * (1/3)^1 + nCr(5,5) * (2/3)^5 = 0.461

unless you're a whale, you likely do not have 6 variable dice you are willing to use without a single blocker. Versus for a 4liner w/ 3 good stats:

- no blocker: 63.3%
- with blocker: 100%

From a numbers standpoint, you therefore save more dice by using blockers on the 2/4 good substats, and naturally rolling the 3/4 good substats (although ideally you would do both, of course). For this piece specifically, since silver wolf only wants SPD, CR, and CD. A 4liner boots with a maxroll base CR is essentially the closest you can get to a godpiece.

I understand that the discourse itself can get annoying, but it's significantly worse when people ask for advice and the top advice that's given is wrong. If you don't know the answer to a question, please don't answer it and potentially misleading others.

i followed the guides to a T and crafted relics for her and all but i’m flabbergasted at her not having any attack, is she supposed to be like that?

E1S1 SW999, E2S0 Sparxie, No yaoguang. Am i screwed?

I pulled E2 sparxie back in 4.0 since i heard shed be the best teammate for silverwolf, and yaoguang not so much.

Well here i am, and now yaoguang is quite needed for her.

Im wondering if substituting yaoguang with EMC would still compete with an E0 silverwolf with yaoguang and that its not too bad of a damage drop off

Also E2 or yaoguang?

Luckiest pulls of my damn life

I was at 0 pity and somehow hit a double for the first time in my life, and on my 3rd 10 pull since my last 5 star. Later I also got the LC at 30 pity which resulted in a couple threats from my friends.

Eidolon investment question

So in terms of overall performance across all endgame content would going E2S1 SW999 + E2S1 Sparxie + E2S1 Yao be better or worse than going E6S1 SW999 + E0S1 Sparxie + E0S1 Yao? And is there a great difference between performance between these 2 options?

Would anything change if we assume a future unit is sustain and makes E2 always proc twice?

Best e6 for sw999 team?

I got lucky and was able to pull e2s1 SW999 in less pulls than i expected. I will pull sparxie and yg later on their rerun. Among the 3, who has the best e6? From what i've read, all of them are insane and synergize amazingly.
