Is there a way to free iPhone from passcode without losing data ?
Sshrd_script allways fails at mount_filesystems.
And I can't find any tutorials. Help to reset this would be great. I don't care about the data. Thanks

I am looking for someone to explain this all to me barney style. I am not well versed in all of the terminology here in this sub.
I need to recover pictures from an iPhone 5S that is disabled from too many password attempts. I’m not sure which version the phone was on, something around 2015 era ios. I have Windows 11 and Ubuntu PC.
Backstory: My mom used an iPhone 5S around the 2014-2015 time frame. Sometime around then, she disabled her phone. I’m not sure if she forgot her password or what, but iphone is permanently disabled. (not iCloud locked). She has held on to this for years hoping to find some way to recover the pictures on it.

Hackt1vator keeps saying it's not working even tho I'm registered.
Hi everyone,
I have an old iPod Touch 4 that I recently found, but unfortunately I forgot the passcode and the device is now disabled.
My main goal is to preserve the data inside (photos, old memories, etc.), so I really want to avoid restoring if possible.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
• Used Legacy iOS Kit to jailbreak via ramdisk
→ It actually worked once and brought me back to the passcode entry screen
→ But after a few incorrect attempts, the device got disabled again
→ Now I can’t seem to get it back to the passcode screen using the same method
• Tried Silver 6.2
→ But it seems like iPod Touch 4 is not supported / no available option
Environment:
• Only have a Mac (no Windows machine available)
My questions:
1. Is there any way to allow unlimited passcode attempts on iOS 6 (iPod Touch 4)?
2. Is there any known method to brute force the passcode while keeping user data intact?
3. Any recommended tools or workflows that still work in 2026 for 32-bit devices? (Mac preferred)
I understand this is an old device, but I’d really appreciate any guidance. The data inside is very important to me.
Thanks in advance!
Its on ios 13.3.1 beta and it is disabled. It had FMI On. I have windows and linux. Anyway to save activation files?

hi, just found my old ipod 6th gen on ios 11.2 and it’s disabled. i really dont want to restore it because it has all my childhood photos and stuff on it.
i'm on ubuntu right now. i know this thing has the checkm8 exploit but idk the best way to get by the "disabled" screen or reset the attempt counter without wiping the data.
can i use a ssh ramdisk on linux to grab the DCIM/Notes folder or something? any tools that actually work for ios 11? thanks.
