Whoop

Are there any hacks or tricks to getting the Whoop to be $360 even? Trying to avoid paying taxes and fees on something I don’t know I think I’d like but willing to try it if it is free.

If not, then I’ll see what I end up doing.

Thank you all

Question for Users who have CSP/CSR - How frequently do you use your cards? And when combined with CFU, how do you separate/categorize purchases?

For some context, I currently have the CSR; I got it last year for the $550 AF and just renewed it last week for $550. As you can imagine, I did not anticipate the AF rising when I first got the card, and at the moment, unless they change the benefits for 2027, it's not looking like it's going to be my card for travel; hence, I'm considering downgrading to CSP once my next AF hits.

Anyways, I have the CFU, and I am really curious about those who have CFU/CSR currently and those who have CFU/CSP currently. How do you separate your spending for each card? I would appreciate it, as these two cards will be my main cards going forward.

Just to clarify: CFU/CSR (using now until May 2027) then most likely to downgrade to CSP if nothing has changed for CSR benefits.

Does Chase Hotels (IHG) Credit Apply Without Explicit "Pay Now" Option?

Somehow I can't find a straight answer to this anywhere online. I know that you need to use the "Pay Now" option for the Chase Hotels (not talking about the Edit) credit. Will this credit apply in the case that the hotel is booked through the Chase portal and paid for in full immediately, even if there is no "Pay Now" option anywhere?

The unclear part to me is that you are indeed paying now, but you are not checking a box that says Pay Now. According to a conservative reading of the Terms this would not trigger the credit, but that would be insane in practice. However I wouldn't put it past Chase, so if anyone could help clear it up that would be appreciated, thanks.

Travel credit, the edit credit and 250 IHG credit stacking

Before I call Chase, wanted to check here. I recently booked a 580 dollar stay (through the portal) for a IHG, clearly labelled “the edit” hotel.

The 300 travel credit and 250 IHG credit posted, but the 250 (pro rated) for the edit hotel did not. This either will eventually or something isn’t right correct?

Or can I swap the IHG credit for the edit credit? If I don’t use the edit credit on this reservation it won’t get used by time it expires at the end of June

Edit: tldr I was in the wrong, hotel wasn’t “the edit collection” I mistook a generic the edit collection advertisement as applying to my hotel, when it didn’t

Did not realize the Travel Credit takes priority over The Edit Credit and wonder the proper course

Made reservation for an Edit hotel the other day and when I looked at my account today it credited the $250 from the Travel Credit not the The Edit. I have since read the Travel credit takes precedence so I canceled the hotel reservation.

Now I’m thinking with CSR return the Travel credit or is it voided? I hope to use the travel credit for the flight but now not sure how to proceed. Thanks for any thoughts.

Anyone cash in on the 100% cash back on the Pawp subscription?

Or anyone have any experience using Pawp? Seems like it's worth a try for us pet owners.

Dinning Credit Glitch

I dined at one of the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants and the $150 credit didn't apply. I called the customer service and they credited my account $150. When i checked the Chase benefits site, it says that my first half of the year's dinning credit hasn't been used.

Does that mean Chase messed up and I can still use the $150 before June 30th? 🤔

Use Someone Else's CSR to Pay for Edit Hotel Portal Booking

Does anyone know what happens if you use someone else's CSR to pay for an Edit hotel booking while logged into your own account? On the payment page, it defaults to your own card but lets you enter in a different card and billing info. Would it trigger the $250 hotel credit for the payment card? Would the guest still get the Edit benefits? Thanks

Chase Lounge in PHL is the bomb

My first visit this morning and it’s definitely worth the hype. This aline is justifying the annual fee as far as I’m concerned.

Who is the CSR good for?

Do you guys organically use the CSR benefits?

The reason I ask is I (and most people I know) use Spotify, Uber, etc. I would have never bought a WHOOP if not for the free credit. I got it because its free, and even now I don't use it (WHOOP is terrible)! I don't have a dog, but I've heard the same thing with Pawp: you can talk to a vet for free on Chewy.

I find myself going out of my way to use the benefits. I even downgraded from Spotify to Apple Music (Apple Music is terrible!). The OpenTable CSR Exclusive Tables are mostly mediocre overpriced restaurants I wouldn't ordinarily go to. The Edit hotels are expensive and often marked up on the app. I know there's the price match thing, but I'm just confused who this card targets? Who has time to do this? Besides, I normally stay in hostels anyway unless I'm with my GF, but we're in a long distance relationship so we don't see each other all that often. As far as I can tell, this card seems to target high-earning coupon clippers with too much time to kill (strange combo). My TC is $500K, so money isn't the issue, but at one point, the question I ask myself is: who has time to optimize all this!?

Thoughts?

So can you use the benefits twice in one year?

Question about the benefits such as the $300 travel credit.

Say I signed up last week 5/2026. I can use the $300 travel credit this year. Pay the AF.

Then next year 5/2027, I can use another $300 travel credit? Then cancel/downgrade, and request a refund for the second annual fee - within 30 days of it posting?

Or no

$300 Annual Dining Credit. What counts?

I’m based in metro Detroit. Does this really only qualify towards “exclusive tables”? There’s only 5 options..

Just added CSR - can I stack DoorDash credits with my CSP on the same account?

I’ve been enjoying the DoorDash/DashPass perks on my Chase Sapphire Preferred for a while now, and I just added the Sapphire Reserve.

Trying to figure out the smartest way to maximize everything now.

Do I need to open a completely new DoorDash account for the Reserve benefits, or can I just add the Reserve card to my existing DoorDash account and have both cards work together somehow?

Curious how people here handle it and whether there’s a best setup to avoid losing any credits/perks.

Just got approved for CSR. Is Whoop credit still available for "clothes/accessories"?

I’ll make this short for easier reading.

I just got approved for the CSR, and there are only 2 days left before the Whoop credit expires.

I went on the Whoop website to buy accessories, but they’re all marked “final sale & no exchange.” Some people are saying this loophole may already be getting shut down, so I don’t want to risk it.

So I came up with this NEW plan, and I’m wondering if anyone has tried it before.

----------------------------------------------

Whoop currently offers a 1-month free trial for the Peak membership, and they ship you a pre-used device for the trial period. Afterward, I can just return it for a $5.99 shipping fee, which I’m fine with.

During the free trial membership, I’m planning to buy 5.0 MG apparel/accessories, which are still eligible for returns (with me paying return shipping).

My hope is that the CSR $359 credit will trigger, and then I can simply cancel the free trial membership and return the device for the $5.99 fee.

Has anyone successfully done this recently? or this clothes/accessories loophole still works?
