It's been almost an hour since we've left the zoo but we're stuck in the parking lot. The line to get out has barely moved. Is it always like this when the zoo closes??? If I had known, I would have left at least 45 minutes before closing.

Hotel nr Wildlife Park?

So thrilled to be returning to San Diego the end of June while my partner is at a workshop. Last yr I to the zoo almost every day via easy public transit. This yr I wish to go the Safari Park for at least a couple of days. I believe I can go quite far on San Diego transit and then Uber.

Any suggestions of the closest hotel to the Park where I can spend at least one night so I get the most out of my visit?

Thank you!

I am going to the zoo on Wednesday and I would like to see giant panda first. The panda goes on the opposite side of the entrance. Does the skyfari takes me from the entrance to the panda?

Any discounted SD Zoo tickets (May 16-18)?

Visiting this weekend and would love some leads for any discounted tickets (2 qty). Costco shows individual tickets for safari but not Zoo. I assume each is different. I doubt if taking the Go City pass is ideal for a 3 night stay. TIA

Former or current employes, What it's like to work at the zoo/safari park?

Any current or former employes who can share whats it like working at San Diego Zoo/Safari Park?

As postion wise I guess I mean more behind the scene, warehouse-like positons ( Delivery Driver, Pricing Clerk, etc.) The postions Delivery Driver and Pricing Clerk seems interesting and I just wanted to know what it like working in those type of positions since I hardly see reviews or share experiences of those positions.

I'm really looking into becoming a San Diego Zoo employe and I was looking at current reviews typically through I lndeed, and Glassdoor (idk how reliable they are) but I read some cons reviews especially regarding with their management, I dont really know if this is true or not but it sort of holds me back on wanting to apply and land any job there.

BTW: I read a reddit post that the OP also asked what'd it like working at the zoo. But it was like 11 years ago, so I don't know if it's completely different experience now than it was years ago.

San Diego Zoo Upgraded Wildlife Experiences

We’re heading to the zoo this weekend for a special family weekend and I’ve been looking at some of the wildlife/animal experiences they offer. Has anyone done any of them and would you recommend them?
