Regarding AICTE Activity Points

Hey seniors,

I had a doubt regarding AICTE activity points.

Some events (like marathons, etc.) are offering points but charging around ₹450-₹500 I wanted to ask:

- Is it worth paying for such events just to earn activity points?

- Or are there enough opportunities later to earn points for free or at a lower cost?

- Does it become difficult to complete the required points if we wait?

Would really appreciate your advice and experiences. Thanks!

Please help me

I want to join rvce but I have seen so many posts and comments saying rvce has so much academic pressure and you don't get so much time to build your things or do your hobbies. I personally want to build my startup. And thought that bangalore is the best city for it and then i searched which college is ranked at the top removing iim, iisc, and iiit then i found rvce and comedk so can you please tell me if this college is a good decision to me or should I focus on another college ( please recommend me if you can )

Worth it to get into rvce through mngment quota and pay 2x (43l) price ?

Im thinking of taking ECE in rvce which will cost me 43 LAKH where median salary is 12-13lpa and i got potential to get a good job i just need a great college as a head start (which is important not necessary tho)

Going other pvt clg with 20 LAKH fees in cse but worse placements (7-8 lpa median) or here what would u suggest ?

Im giving come£d k too and will get 8-10k rank for sure and 3-4k if gets lucky or should i take lower branch with com£dk and hope for branch change 😔

Scored 88%ile in jee mains

I used to be a proper topper btw 🥀

Serious help regarding exam attempting

Okay so i had been preparing for jee, but didnt go quite well. So now i am focusing on comedk. yesterday i gave 10s2 as first comedk mock and scored 87. i didnt do any guesses, only the questions i could do, and left the others.

and i noticed a few things, and i need help from you guys so please do guide me.

  1. The speed. yes 1min/ques is a god level speed and my speed is not that much. some questions are really easy like under 1 min but the median time i am taking is 1.5-2 min per question. So HOW DO I BRING THIS TIME DOWN?

  2. The guesswork. Yes i need to guess the questions, leaving questions is stupidity. But HOW DO I GUESS THEM? like should i just mark the tukka wala option side by side as i am solving? or first solve the whole paper, and at the end mark anything? if i go by the first route, i feel it will take extra time, but it can be a nice educated guess? in the second route, it's quite unpredicitbe as i usually dont have time left in the end right. so how do i go about it?

  3. Usually in any exam, i dont start with maths, but here i felt maths is really really doable. in mains i scored 14/100 in maths but in yesterday's mock i scored 35/60. with many silly mistakes. so yeah it is quite doable, so is it okay to do maths first in this?

  4. any other tip for the exam is welcomed :)

thank you for reading
