The allegations had got a lot of public coverage and I was outraged because by the way people were talking about it it sounded like 6 different girls. I had completely stopped listening to him because as a victim of sa i couldnt support someone like that.

But only recently I found that the allegations were dropped. How did the allegations getting dropped not prompt as much of media coverage as the intital lawsuit? I was thinking about artists I used to listen to and I googled roc only to go to a post on r/Fauxmoi stating that he has been proved not guilty. And half the comments on that post were saying shit like "oh just because he was proven not guilty doesnt mean he is innocent" excuse me ?? At first even I thought that it was some case of corruption but theres cctv footage and an eyewitness account from the "victims" then partner so its pretty cut and dry is it not.

So many people are still accusing roc of something but on what basis? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? From what I've heard CPS doesnt drop cases unless there is enough evidence to prove that the crime didnt occur . Money and influence woudnt have played a huge role in this case because criminal cases are handled by the government (im not sure about this one).

It feels really weird to me that after he was proven innocent people are still making narratives to prove him guilty. Unless I am missing something. Honestly I just want to start listening to his music again because he used to be one of my favourite artists but I really want to make sure I am not missing anything because it seems to be the majority opinion that he did something wrong. Please give me your opinions.

I don’t listen to that much rex Orange County however I think that Pluto projector is one of the most underrated love songs ever. It always brings me to tears it’s so sweet. It took me being in an actual long term relationship with someone I adore and love to really understand the lyrics. Specifically the end - “stay forever, you know more than anyone and it’s you that knows my darkness and you know my bedroom needs, you could blast me and my secrets but there’s probably just no need” :,) like that’s exactly what it feels like to be with someone for so long that they know everything about you and love you despite all your shortcomings. UGH I didn’t know where else to talk about this!!!!

Based on the distance between Pony & Who Cares (28 months). And the distance between Who Cares & TAT (30 months). It's interesting to think that it could be another 29 months until Rex 6. That would put it at February 2027. He drops a single 45-50 days before album release so we should expect a single around december of this year or january of next year. More likely january so there wouldn't be holiday music competition.

ALSO. TAT was fairly open and honest for Rex. It felt very complete if you were to look at his albums as a story arc. His last song is legit "finally". What do you guys predict the next album might be about?

Possibly more into him growing older? A finally healthy love for Rex?
