We're aware of the Sensitive Content issue that has appeared in the last days, and have been investigating why it's interrupting story generation.

What feature would make your RedQuill life better? Big ideas, small Quality of Life improvements, stuff that bugs you are all fair game. RQ HQ's goal is to make at least one of these things happen by next week 🙂

So I know we have been dealing with the sensitive content issue the last 5 days. But now I can't even get a single word to generate. It just gives me a "something went wrong" error. Tried it about a dozen times with different prompts with no success.

I notice that the AI doesn't seem to recognize familial relationships very well.

I've lost will trying so hard to write. Why are you taking quills if you are just going to stop and say the above over and over? Help please.

I love red quill. I am a heavy user. I am a premium subscriber and I use it daily. I’m just tired. The “sensitive information” bug was kind of the straw that broke the camel’s back to get me to post. This isn’t the only thing that been happening. Red quill just ignoring half of your prompt, chapter generation being so slow at times that it’s unusable, continuity issues.

I imagine that running a platform like red quill is a lot of work, and I am grateful for the people that keep it afloat, I really am, but these issues are really making it really bad to use recently. Today, the sensitive information issue makes is literally unusable. I can’t generate ANYTHING without it just blocking my chapter. I’m not asking for something ridiculous like 2,000 quills or even refunds, but I do think paying subscribers deserve some quills for all of these issues, especially the sensitive information bug.

Since there's a major issue currently going on with Quills being eaten up relentlessly through the "Sensitive Information"-bug, and the all too ever present "No Daily Streak Payout"-bug, i think it'd be appropriate to hear whether the devs are going hand out a paltry sum of quills after these bugs are properly addressed and fixed.

Gods know i've lost hundreds of quills to not receiving the daily streak payout. In fact, the weekly and monthly streaks too do not reliably register.

Campaignman, whats the read on the streak payout bugs? These are unreasonably frustrating because it actively denies serotonin.

The AI has hidden character descriptions that it follows. I have come across a few them.

They don't follow the character components. The AI ignores the character components and instead follows the one it makes. It ignores Author's Notes. It ignores components. The AI does not even follow basic writing rules. Seriously. How much money is required to fix problems that COMPONENTS are supposed. What is the part when it has its own character profiles it follows AND NOT THE ONE THE USER STATED

It looks like the entire site is crashing again. Chapter generation issues, slow page loads, redirects to rhe non-member homepage. It's looking like mid February all over again. 😞

I made a character to use the chat with feature to be a sort of assistant. The instructions were to help with character creation and include nsfw information for the character. Was working fine until today when I went to use this character to make a new character and their first message tells me that they cannot assist in any nsfw content.

I don't know if this is associated with the sensitive information bug or not but what I suggest is that the devs and the couple of people I know are lurking here that work for the company should be transparent and keep your customers in the loop. Since this bug is so widespread and I've seen several people talk about leaving and ending their subscriptions. I'd suggest a rollback on the update that you released just before the bug started and work on the bug on an isolated system till you can fix it.

Or if your trying to step back from nsfw content then put an announcement on the reddit page and just tell us that is what your doing. You won't be working on anything when you aren't making any more money from the site.

How do you add new components to a lorebook? I've used different components at different points in my story, but I only ever see the first 2 that I started with, it never adds more. I've been trying to add world building components to apply to the whole story, but I have to add them to each chapter because the lorebook never picks them up.

After failing for multiple hours to get a Novel length, three-pepper chapter to generate for this story due to the "the current content involves sensitive information" bug, I got a successful generattion:

The story has whipping and hardcore human-on-goblin sex in an RPG-verse world so it's VERY EMBARRASSING TO POST DO NOT READ IT, but I wanted to provide it for the devs in case it's a fluke and they can use the request ID or some other piece of data to see why this one made it through and others don't.
