How does the AI mess up the continuity of a story within like 4 chapters? Working currently on a story and the AI has already fudged up the continuity established in the first chapter, it totally forgot by Chapter 4

Have a story currently working on and there's a brother and a sister and the sister was asking her boyfriend about her brother's father, which is her father
It constantly does stuff like this. It's like it doesn't know a father and mother from a brother or a sister, etc lol
Until this sensitive information ish is fixed, people can't even generate any type of story
