Wife got me a Henglong Tiger 1 for our anniversary. Can’t wait to get to work on this one! Fun times ahead.

I was excited to receive my first R/C tank, a Henglong Walker Bulldog. It looks great, sounds, and drives great! But when I opened the box I noticed that the front face of two of the "shoulder weight wheels" were missing. I carefully checked the table, floor, and packaging but there were no parts hiding anywhere. I reached out but have gotten no response from Toucan Hobby or Henglong. It's a bit disappointing. I don't feel like I should have to buy replacement parts to complete my brand new tank. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ya subí antes sobre mi tanque CV33 1/16 pensado para rc,tengo los servos y el motor pero me falta el sistema y la batería.

No tienen ni idea del dolor de cabeza que da el jugar al tetris con las piezas para que encaje y aun así esté fallando algo.

Tengo varios problemas,para empezar,tenía pensado usar el sistema de Coolbank ya que usa baterías pequeñas y la placa cabe bien,pero tendría que adaptar algunos cables y no quiero cagarla

La segunda opción era,y la que mas ilusión me hacía,un sistema henglong 7.1 para poder instalarle infrarrojos y jugar con el como en la serie de gup,con solo la ametralladora,pero con eso hay un monton de problemas,aparte del tamaño de la placa que practicamente no cabe,las baterías son demasiado grandes para este tanque,y no se si puedo adaptar el cable de alimentación al de coolbank para usar sus baterías,(desconozco si se puede hacer),ademas que un sistema henglong 7.1 está a mas de 100€,por lo que si hago alguna modificacion erronea me puedo cargar todo el proyecto y pierdo mucho dinero.Alguien me dá alguna idea?

So a few of us in Socal RC Tank Club wanted to do a themed gathering for our club's monthly battle. It would be great if people who were fans of the show attended and hung out or even joined us if they have IR battle ready tanks. Even if you don't play, it's good to meet and celebrate the love of our favorite show together. We're thinking Saturday June 20th, 2026. Location will be in Huntington Beach. Basically our first RC Senshado Festival. Mark your calendars!

Painted and weathered in winter whitewash. sBrdpoke stowage made. metal gearboxes and new motors added. Metal tracks, drive sprockets, idlers and cupola added.

Heavily modified Cults3D mauler scaled up 266% from the original size so its a tad bigger then the original mauler. Custom side skirt spacers were made for when using heng long panther tracks.

Using a pair of injora fat viper 2204 2400kv motors running through custom 13.5:1 compact gear boxes and being driven by a repeat robotics dual am32 brushless esc.

Still need to work on improving the mechanics inside the turret cause the gun has a LOT of leverage against the servo and there isn't a lot of headroom space inside the turret to put a longer servo arm on but I'll figure something out!

A company called Ironquad who makes really nice FPV cameras is about to release their new YoHD Micro FPV system and I was sent a unit to evaluate. I had did an interview with them in our social media channels before and their reps were actually getting into RC tanks (or maybe I convinced them, who knows). The system itself is for ground vehicles that will include a 1080p wifi camera and goggle system for a street price of $250. Again, this really isn't intended to be an advertisement nor am I being given anything to do so or paid by them but I am excited to share it. On a personal note, my goal in the RC tank space besides making a bigger and better club is to attract cool products and innovations to our space because we're so niche and I think this is a big step in that direction. Anyway, look these guys up if you're looking for some nice camera setups to add to your RC vehicles.

We'll be playing with it over at my RC tank club (@socalrctankclub). Having tried Ironquad's flagship product when he interviewed me about our club, I was super looking forward to this and now it's finally here. My independent and objective take on this item is that it's a great system for the money. The camera is lightweight, is versatile in that you can power it off a 2s or 3s lithium battery (I use the same packs I use for my smaller tanks). The FOV is fixed forward however there is about a 10 degree angle of adjustment you can manipulate which turned out to be pretty handy for my tank. The goggles are a fixed setup so there's no fine tuning, but works and connects the moment you power it. The goggles can run off of a 2s-6s lithium battery. Footage is displayed real-time with sound and you can also record if you add a micro SD card (sold separately). I will have footage as soon as I get my card in the mail. I'd say the limit might be heat, so cool it between sessions and you should be okay. Goggles are fixed though so no adjustments are possible. Video recording is 1080 @ 60 frames and 720 at 100 frames IIRC. If you need it to be on a gimbal or adjustable goggles however, this is where you should be looking at the higher end option.
