I have ps5 at 5.10. I read this fw doesn't support psvr2. Appreciate any advice on this. What fw I should upgrade to to use psvr2. Also I don't see many VR game backups.

Recently got my hands on a 10.01FW ps5. I followed modded warfare's guide on how to load a full system backup and restore with the modded Youtube app that contains the Y2JB autoloader.

How do I update the Y2JB to the newest version, and how do I update Shadowmount to Shadowmountplus?

I'm able to run most game dumps from either internal nvme, but newer games I'm having issues with, especially Baldurs Gate 3 and Wo Long. Borderlands 4 freezes from either internal nvme, but will run for the most part from an external USB drive (mechanical, not ssd or nvme)

My question is this: I have no interest in running Linux or steam. I looked in to updating to 10.xx about 3 months ago, but at the time the only option was the YouTube jail break, and all tutorials I read seemed extremely complicated. Should I risk updating the firmware so I can play a few more games, or stay at 4.52 and just keep trying different games? Backpork kitchen works for the most part, except for the 2 games mentioned above. I don't want to try and update to a higher firmware only to get stuck on the jailbreak.

Just heard you can jail break your ps5 now, and if I knew I would have done this so long ago! Is there anything I can do? I do not know if its impossible to do on this version or not, or if there's some way to downgrade. What can I do to jailbreak my PS5?

I am seeking a PS5 with low firmware version and I stubmled upon a 12.20 version in my region which the seller sells for 515$ console only or 685$ with 2 games and 2 controllers.

My method I will try to use is by lua disc game as I have a PS4 12.0 jailbreaked already.

Is it possible to jailbreak this version with a lua disc?

I am planning to buy a PS5 soon, and I would like to have your advice whether the jailbreak situation is stable or not to make the purchase worth it.

I still have a PS4 Pro, since PS5 didn't have anything that interests me for a while but I am coming around to the idea of an upgrade lately. I am not familiar with the PS5 jailbreak scene yet, I heard from some that it is quite unstable at 10.01, and it's a better choice to just wait for a stable jailbreak. I found consoles at versions of 9.xx and 10.01, what do you guys recommend? Is it as accessible and stable as PS4 is? Or will I encounter many issues at this point?

P.S: I also found a console at version 12.xx, and based on what I heard it'll take hours to jailbreak the console with P2JB once the 12.70 jailbreak rolls out, so I guess that option is already ruled out?

I recently bought a Pro right before the price hike. It's on 10 or 11 or something. I have a regular launch ps5 digital on 13.20. should I wait for the 13.20 or just jb the pro if that possible?

Should I buy PS4 for 150€ or PS5 for 400€ ? PS5 price might increase and idk if I'll be able to afford it later + it might be difficult to find low firmware in the future but idk... PS4 would last me since I never played playstation games

But I prefer PS5's controller it's much better + has type c port .

PS5 firmware would be between 10 and 12 and since there's 12.40 exploit with y2jb ( but not confirmed idk if it's cancelled )

Also if I buy a PS5 with 12.00 and I buy like 5-6 games that will last me at least 3-4 months to finish them , will we get free jailbreak without SWRR by that time ?

Also what are the best games with longest playtime to make sure I get entertained long enough

I found a sealed PS5 Slim and I’m hesitating to buy it mainly for jailbreak potential. The seller says it was bought on March 28, but I have no idea about the firmware.

Do you think there’s still a chance it could be on a jailbreakable firmware or are most sealed Slims from that period already too recent?

Just trying to know if it’s worth the gamble before I spend the money. Thanks !

I got a PS5 pro on 9.05 for a good deal and have spent couple weeks on the JB. However there's so many random bugs, the fact that we have no fpkgs makes it way less streamlined compared to the PS4 pro JB.

I got an offer for £900 for it which seems good to sell. I also have a PS5 fat on 10.6 which I can wait for.

Are backports mainly installed by replacing the files folders that need be? Or does it only apply for certain firmwares. I know some unlockers or DLC has to install the pkg first but was wondering about this

Also do I need to be running the Backpork elf?? I’m on 9.20 and seen I would need the 9.xx backports for some games specifically not all ofc

I have a PS5 fat on 10.6 was waiting for a jailbreak but have an offer for a PS5 fat on 4.51 for £480 from a Friend. I know it has the HV exploit but not sure if it's worth paying for or just wait with what I have?

I got lucky and bought a new PS5 pro on 9.6 for a very good deal. I can JB it or sell it and buy a 4.51 off eBay and be up £100.

Never jailbroken a console, come from PC but have decided to get one. I know that 4.03 has support for NVME but I don't really need it as I have a USB-C enclosure with NVME.

Any limitations on what games I can run etc ?

Seen something about being able to utilize playing games from either root of internal drive in the etaHEN games folder or the usb drive way but I was curious has anyone been using this webMAN games setup? Is there any kind of limit to how many games webMAN games will display or?

Or would it be easier to just copy over my game folders from USB to the normal root of the data folder?

Really want to know the main differences between these two exploits, any info helps.

I have a ps4 pro on 9.00 tho so i understand a bit about it.

My actual question is : can i play ps2 and ps4 games? I suppose i can move the saves with apollo from ps4 to ps5?
